The house was amazing and every single details were considered by the owner. I'd really recommend the Byzantine Home who thinks to visit and stay in Mesta. My family and I absolutely enjoyed this experience.

A fairy tale stone house at the heart of the medieval village of Mesta. The hosts, Fragoula and Dimitris were very hospitable and informative. Definitely a place to come back too

Breakfast was very satisfying. Everyday they served boiled eggs, cheese, meat, olives, fruit, yoghurt and so on. One day we did not like the coffee, and as soon as we told the lady, she brewed fresh coffee for us and made us very pleased. Thank you again! We visited Chios in the mid-September and it is not that crowded so we were only a couple of guests. We felt very comfortable. There was a nice lady taking care of everything, and she was super helpful and kind.
Perched on a rocky hill, right above Karinta Bay in Chios, the family-run Louiza Apartments features lush gardens with stone paved alleys, a mini soccer field and a basketball court.

Amazing studio with beautiful view in undiscovered bay! Our room was perfectly clean, big enough and full of staff you can need while travelling. You can sit in the garden or just in front of your room, and enjoy the sea view. Owners were very friendly also. We definetely recommend Louiza!

Mr. Lambros is a great person. For those who want to go to the house is just around the corner, on the back lot. The owner is open to development, he has the idea of what more he can do. The sea is rocky, suitable for shoes. There are 2 places to eat, But Pirgi is 19 km, Mesta is 3 km. There is a place in Mesta that serves very good food, I recommend it. Also, don't forget to buy your wine from a place run by a woman and has homemade wine (I tried it and it tastes delicious). Do your shopping at My Market in Chios. Buy your alcohol and meat products from here. Mr. Lambros has a kitchen upstairs. In the morning, the sea is perfect and calm. Since it is in the bay, it doesn't get too much waves (for those who want peace and quiet).
Offering quiet street views, Vlychos Olympi Lodge is an accommodation set in Olýmpoi, 32 km from Port of Chios and 23 km from Panagia Krina Church.

A great place to stay with a beautiful sea view.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful and open to all questions/concerns.
Can only recommend the whole thing.
Gladly again.
Many greetings
Mesta should be a world heritage site. This beautiful stone village is like a step back in time, it's so well preserved and authentic. It's a delight to wander the narrow alleys and relax in the little main square.
There's plenty to do around the area as well - nearby mastica villages Olympi and Pyrgi are also wonderful day trips, and there are lots of lovely beaches around too.
One thing to note is that Mesta doesn't have a few modern things you might need, like an ATM, gas station, pharmacy, doctor, supermarket, etc. You have to drive about 15-20 minutes to Pyrgi for those things. Also, no public transportation, and I didn't see any taxis.

Loved it.
Loved it. Pretty medieval town with lots of cute places to explore. A car is necessary. So much to explore near by too! There are a few little restaurants in town, the best one was a little restaurant with an owner called Marina. It was a cute family run place with great Greek food.
