I love hotel Prinos! This was my second time here after 4 years and I came with my grandmother. Vicky, who is truly an amazing woman and host, remembered me, to my surprise, and even remembered in which room I stayed the previous time. We stayed in a room with mountain view on the first floor that was beautiful and very peaceful, like all of Skala Prinos. I really rest during my time here and the hotel is among my top places to recharge!

The hospitality from the owner and his team are nothing less than perfect.
Rooms are clean and nice.
Both the breakfast and dinner at the hotel are top level food, with local sourced food, and even a few homemade things, like the marmalade for the breakfast. Sooo good!

Comfortable room with a smart flat TV, A/C, a small balcony and sound proof balcony door with (very usefull since the room is close to the street and there was also a mesh door panel for mosquitos!). Walking distance from restaurants. It isn't a luxurious place to stay, but it is a very good value for money deal.

Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Family hotel PROTEAS offer excellent Ratio of price and quality. First impression has been nice clean room with balcony toward pine wood. Room is equiped with net against Mosquitos so good sleep is ensured. Every day we enjoy breakfast seating in the yard in full shadows. Position of the hotel is such that you can reach sea in three different direction. West /150 m from sea. North/ 400m from sea/ and to the east /1km from sea. The friendly hotel owner allowed us to celebrate us birthday.

This house is NOT in Prinos. Actually, there are 4 Prinos's! The ferry docks at Skala Prinos. From there it's 2 km to Prinos village - OK, but nothing special. It's another 5 km uphill to Mikros Prinos and Megalos Prinos, where House Rhodia is located. Megalos Prinos is also called Kazaviti and Megalo Kazaviti. It is a traditional village of stone houses, now largely owned or rented by non-Greeks. However, the surroundings are fantastic, and Thasos Island as a whole is a wonderful place to relax. There are beaches everywhere, good food is easy to find, and various kinds of water sports are available.

Port is there with connection to Kavala's port. A small village with small shops on the port. However it offers almost everything to the visitor.
I strongly recommend Kostas Zorbas tavern (400m from Prinos's port), excellent sea food.

Chose this location to be convenient for the ferry for...
Chose this location to be convenient for the ferry for departure after touring the island. Buses run regularly from the port. You are about 20 minute drive from Limnas. There are scooter and car hire companies in the town. There is an ATM. There are a few restaurants and café/bars. The food was good in any we tried. Beaches just outside the town centre are good with plenty of free sunbeds.
This was our second stay at Sentimento. We appreciate the great location, which is virtually on the beach, in a quiet neighborhood and close to a good taverna. The service is friendly and the rooms are modern, clean, and well kept. Sentimento only has a bar, which also services the beach. Compared to our first stay, the owners have made improvements to the beach experience. The beach itself is suitable for families with young children as the water is rather shallow for a good distance. Thassos town is about 20 min away by car.
I think it was the best place that i have ever stayed in all my vacations ever. The owners are very nice people and you feel at home and welcoming. The suite has everything you would ever need and it looks absolutely stunning and very spacious. Just felt like luxury in every aspect but with budget price. By far one of the best choices if you want to stay like a king in Thassos. Looks much nicer in reality than the pictures. I will definitely come back next year.
We are returning guests and what a pleasant surprise we had! The hotel feels like home in a great way - calm, relaxing with great breakfast! The garden is a beautiful addition and the beach is super close. They even had a zone at the beach just for the guests and the fee was reasonable. The hotel's bar is fully functioning and we had a great time there. The hotel is super clean and we will for sure be back again!
Always delighted to come back to Skala Prinos and Matina's apartments and meet our welcoming host again. Comfortable, clean apartment, perfect location, everything is just steps away. (Scuba diving center next door) Overlooking main square with ferry docks, very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch people come and go... philosophical almost... Very enjoyable.
Right next to the ferry port so it’s convenient if you don’t have a car. The hotel was very clean, room had all necessities (aircon, fridge, kettle, mugs). The beach right in front of it has clear calm water and is part of a big beautiful bay. Vicky the owner is super nice and hospitable. I definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back
The vacation at Costa was like having a vacation at grandpa. Even though the house it is not new, everything is clean, and it is right in the ferry port. During the evening it is nice and quiet, there are tavernas in the area, basically you have everything you would need. I would definately go back when I return to Thassos.
I loved the variety of spaces to sit n chill, nestled under the umbrellas on the hotel pool. The hotel was luxurious, modern, spacious and every where was clean and well kept at all times, the beautiful blue flag beach was so peaceful and easily accessed by steps. Thank you to all the team for a wonderful stay!
We really enjoyed our second vacation in this hotel, we have been here in 2022 and again in 2024. The staff from the reception and from the restaurant were very friendly and well prepared, the manager was always there to help and to mantain a good service. The food was very good and the room quite nice.
The concept of the hotel was great, with the swimming pool, pool bar, building blocks and the on site greenery. The beach was very good with crystal clear sea water. The food was great, and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was bigger than what we expected with a great sea view.
We liked the position of the hotel, in a quiet area and very close to the beach. Also, the fact that it is adults only contributes a lot to the relaxing atmosphere. The room and the terrace were as depicted in pictures. The staff was very helpful and friendly with what we needed.

Alea Hotel was a top notch destination for me. It's the second time I visit this place which is located in a coastal location in northwestern Thassos, in Skala Prinos and definitely I enjoyed my stay. I'll be back soon for more days.
It is very good hotel, whit professional people. The rooms are not big, the furniture is old(it is not a big deal for me because i came to enjoy beaches and sea not the hotel...) but it is very clean which is most important for me.
Each and every member of the staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpfully at all times. The hotel is literally a stones throw away from the beach and lies just outside of a small town with good dining options.
