I love hotel Prinos! This was my second time here after 4 years and I came with my grandmother. Vicky, who is truly an amazing woman and host, remembered me, to my surprise, and even remembered in which room I stayed the previous time. We stayed in a room with mountain view on the first floor that was beautiful and very peaceful, like all of Skala Prinos. I really rest during my time here and the hotel is among my top places to recharge!

All was like I expected. Position o villa is not in the center of the city, so was very quiet and nice sea view. Space was enough for 3 families (6 adults and 7 kids). Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

Family hotel PROTEAS offer excellent Ratio of price and quality. First impression has been nice clean room with balcony toward pine wood. Room is equiped with net against Mosquitos so good sleep is ensured. Every day we enjoy breakfast seating in the yard in full shadows. Position of the hotel is such that you can reach sea in three different direction. West /150 m from sea. North/ 400m from sea/ and to the east /1km from sea. The friendly hotel owner allowed us to celebrate us birthday.

This house is NOT in Prinos. Actually, there are 4 Prinos's! The ferry docks at Skala Prinos. From there it's 2 km to Prinos village - OK, but nothing special. It's another 5 km uphill to Mikros Prinos and Megalos Prinos, where House Rhodia is located. Megalos Prinos is also called Kazaviti and Megalo Kazaviti. It is a traditional village of stone houses, now largely owned or rented by non-Greeks. However, the surroundings are fantastic, and Thasos Island as a whole is a wonderful place to relax. There are beaches everywhere, good food is easy to find, and various kinds of water sports are available.

Chose this location to be convenient for the ferry for departure after touring the island. Buses run regularly from the port. You are about 20 minute drive from Limnas. There are scooter and car hire companies in the town. There is an ATM. There are a few restaurants and café/bars. The food was good in any we tried. Beaches just outside the town centre are good with plenty of free sunbeds.
Everything was amazing, especially breakfast :) Room was exceptionally clean, it was cleaned daily. Also new towels every day, and the bad sheets was changed in every 2-3 days. The location is also pretty good, for us it was exactly what we wanted. It is a bit isolated from the noise and a lot of crowd, but it is as well pretty close to everything that you need during your stay. We would choose this hotel for the next visit for sure. We felt like we are not there for the first time, like we were a regular guests for last couple of years.
The apart-hotel and hosts were absolutely amazing. Had a lovely time, very kind, attentive and friendly hosts always happy to help with everything. The place itself was lovely, new built and modern. Very close to the beach and port. The place has been very well thought and with attention to detail, everything you would need for a great holiday was provided for. A very clean and safe place, they even offer refreshments for guests which was a lovely touch. Most definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again soon.
Dimitris and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just across the beach. If you fancy a cosy & quiet(er) beach bar, I recommend. Room was according to our expectations. Breakfast is average but contains the basics we needed. Pool is nice if you just want to relax and grab a drink from the bar. We liked the green garden and the mornings by the pool.The city is small, you need a car to explore the surroundings. Limenas is pretty closed.

Our room was of sufficient size. It had a fantastic forest view and was ideal for a quiet sleep. It was a blessing that it was very close to the beach. The room cleaning was very sufficient. We have already started planning our next trip.
