The hotel is beautiful. The food is good with lots of options during the day. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone and is a great way to start the day. Multiple outdoor areas to enjoy the ocean view and access to a small beach. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's closer to the airport than downtown Athens which provided us a great way to end our trip.

The hosts were very nice and we had an absolutely comfortable check in. The view to the sea is stunning. We had a beautiful balcony with lots of privacy. The apartment is perfectly equipped and very cosy and clean. One hears the sea shore while sleeping, we had a wonderful stay. The area has a lot to offer too, very good restaurants and beautiful beaches.

We were welcomed with a smile and warm greetings. Informed us of the times food would be served, for evening and breakfast, asked if we needed anything, if so please ask. Helpful with directions to local restaurants. The hotel was super clean and fresh, our room had good view of the sea, clean, bed was comfortable.

Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out.
Quiet local area with a couple of places to eat out. Good food and a small local shop. The hotel is around 40 minutes to Athens town, taxi's are between 35 to 40€. 48€ if you book through the hotel. Local bus is hourly but to get to Athens you'd need to change and then get a train. We only went into Athens for one day via taxi and crammed everything in. If you book a return taxi it's cheaper. Athens Site-seeing, markets and local shops are fabulous. We walked around Mati but it's in the suburbs so no site-seeing. but our holiday was to relax and Mati hotel was perfect for that. We'd go again.

We liked the pool and beach view from our room.
We liked the pool and beach view from our room. We liked the outdoor dining option overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea and good waiter service. We really liked our early morning swim in the lovely warm sea, on our last day in Greece before the long flight back to Australia. That was a highlight. I would recommend Mati as a relaxing option outside of the hectic city centre of Athens. I wished we’d stayed there longer.

Mati is well located near the Athens Airport.
Mati is well located near the Athens Airport.
For arriving or leaving Greece a nice stop. Also if you want to avoid loosing days by travelling by boat or plane to all kind of holiday locations in Greece it is a nice alternative as the coast at Mati is nice and the views are the same as on many Greek Islands.
Use your money to rent a car and visit the Peloponesos and Athens at your doorstep.
Mati is a quiet and small village without many stores.

A newly built hotel situated a very clam & quiet area.
A newly built hotel situated a very clam & quiet area.
Hotel breakfast staff are really nice.
The gym is bit small and around the hotel very few activities as there only 2-3 restaurant and only one small shop available. Nearest supermarket is about 50min walk.
Also, if you don’t have a car then getting to Athens is not easy by using public transport as you have to take a bus and then underground. The bus service is not good as they don’t seem to run according to a particular timetable. Most of the time we had to wait 30-50min by the bus stop and then bus journey to nearest underground another 50min.

From the airport, it takes 20-25 min.
From the airport, it takes 20-25 min. Cost by taxi is €40, which should taken under consideration when booking for justba stopover. However, from the airport to Athens is €45-50 and very close 4* hotels seems not to be if checking via Booking.com
Kristen, the owner, is lovely and very helpful. The property is new and spotless clean, one of the best we ever stayed at in Greece. Bedding and towels smelled fresh and clean. Fully equipped kitchen and amazing patio garden. Pity we were there only for few hours overnight to catch an early plane, so we didn't get to explore the area or the beach. One amazing restaurant nearby. Very quiet being in a residential area surrounded by fields but 12mins away from the beach. We'll definitely go back if we happen to be in that area again.
I have enjoyed everything in this hotel. It was an amazing good surprise. I have spent a single night at Cabo Verde hotel. The location is perfect, far away from Athens rush and closer to Airport.
The hotel manage the transfer with good prices. The room is excellent and clean. I loved the bed and the shower. I and my family spent a couple of hours on the pool area. very good experience. congratulations for all the hotel staff. Excellent hotel! I strongly recommend.
Off the beaten track, with exceptional views, this is a charming hotel where you can unwind and be taken care of by incredible staff. All the staff are incredible, from the room service, bar and restaurant, but a particular shout out to Alexandra and Marilena on reception. These young women deal with everyone with grace and courtesy- they are kind, friendly and try to anticipate what o e might need and are a massive asset to this hotel and the Ramada Brand.
I loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and so were the meals I had for dinner. The hotel is so cute and I can hardly wait to return. Natasha, the owner was an absolute gem. She made me feel so welcomed and was extremely kind to me. I felt like she was a girlfriend I hadn’t seen in years and we were reuniting. This will be my home whenever I visit the Athens area. Such a special place.
First: very friendly reception, decent breakfast, clean rooms, cool vintage furniture in lobby. Not a fancy new hotel, but comfortable and not expensive. Second: we stayed here mainly because it is close to Rafina. Actually the taxi cost €12 from Miami Hotel to Rafina Port, but this was still less expensive than other hotels in Rafina anyway! So this was not a problem. We would gladly stay here again.
This time around, they offered us a corner room (number 101 if I remember correctly). The view was unbelievable. The room was very spacious and clean, beds were comfy, all the amenities and facilities were in place and working properly, the staff was lovely - no complaints. But the 180-degree sea view from the corner room was the best thing about our night spent at Mati Hotel.
friendly staff, breakfast was good, bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch. Marta the property manager did a great job of checking on and conversing with customers and ensuring any issues or concerns were addressed and corrected if required. Really enjoyed the stay will make an effort to stay there again, while vacationing in Greece.
we had a great room. top floor with sea view plus a balcony. This hotel is right at beachside but Mati itself is a bit isolated. Great staff. Nice pool.
We stayed here our last night in Greece. it’s 20 minutes from Athens International and on the other side of the airport from Athens city and so traffic was easy.
The personnel of the hotel is amazing: very gentle and polite.
The room was clean and had the basic facilities.
The raport quality price is very good.
The hotel is located super close to a small beach, but rather far from the city center.
Overall we enjoyed our stay there and we recommend the hotel.
The property was amazing, the breakfast was a 10+, but the staff was over the top. Sincerely friendly, professional, and always attentive to your every need. Georgia, the front desk mgr., was especially exceptional. We will always make it a point to stay there when in Greece.
Needs major updating.
Balcony door does lock.
Toilet seat size wrong (too small).
Humidifier unit in middle of room leaks water.
Breakfast is basic and mediocre.
Does not meet descriptions as advertised.
Should have used one of the two adjacent hotels instead.
The room was very clean and well air conditioned. The view of the ocean was very nice also for the room that I selected. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and the hotel was very clean. I always saw staff sweeping and cleaning up.
Friendly staff, always willing to help, great communication! it’s a great location with sea views, airport is not far from hotel by taxi or hire car. comfortable, clean and well furnished rooms.
The check-in was super fast and the room comfortable. We stay only one night before departing from Athens. Also we really appreciate the courtesy at the room incluing a bottle of local wine.
Very reasonable rate for a short notice booking. Hotel was satisfactory for a cheap stopover. Owner was very helpful and ordered a taxi back to Rafina port at a very good rate.
Brilliant manager and reception staff. Great buffet meals. The most amazing beaches and location on this side of Athens/Greece.
The best hotel/resort I have ever stayed at.
