The daily housekeeping by Miss Irma was excellent, the perfect concierge service when needed by Miss Katherina is impeccable and flawless. The resident is a just a few steps from beach acess and has a private sunning terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas for its guests. I highly recommend this residence to those who prefers an upscale accomodation in the beautiful Chalki Island.

Very nice appartement in a convenient location, close to harbour and beach. It had traditional wooden furniture and decoration from Chalki.There was a mini market close to appartement and many restaurants around.We would gladly stay in Rosalia appartement at next visit to Chalki.

Amazing beaches = both rocky and sandy, several tavernas with friendly staff and fresh food and couple of supermarkets which will deliver your purchases to your villa for free.
You will not find there crowdy bars/clubs with load music or hundreds of activities/tours.. its a place for relaxation, enjoying local cuisine and glass of wine, its about greek hospitality, quiet beaches and swimming in crystal clear water.

The island is unique in beauty.
The island is unique in beauty. The residents are really kind, funny and welcoming. The old (deserted) village was a nice surprise and the tavern there was the one I enjoyed the most. I could easily move around without a car. The local bakery is really good! My gravest complaint is that the main (accessible) beaches are totally occupied by sunbeds without the necessary respect to the environment and the free use of them.

great island, Emporio is the main town and where most people stay. Beaches are easily accessed on foot or by boat taxi. All the tavernas are on the waterfront, We ate twice at Marias, once at Kifi Grill and twice at Magefseis, all served great food served by friendly people. The bakery was great for breakfast. Pondamos beach is about a 15 minute walk, just over the hill. Lovely beach, well managed with Nick`s Taverna, also great food.

Have been waiting a long time to get to Halki based on a friend's recommendation. She is a long time visitor as are a lot of others that we met. Must say at times it felt like an old boys club!
There isn't very much to do and if you enjoy walking you need to go in May/early June or late September. We had a slight breeze whilst we were there but it was close to 30 degrees and there is very little shade.
Halki is hilly so you are constantly going uphill! The back lanes can be difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues, steps are uneven in places and only some areas have tarmac.
We didn't think the food was anything to write home about. It wasn't bad, just not the best we have had in the Greek islands.
We loved how quiet the place is and the people are lovely and welcoming.
We will definitely return.

the peace and relaxation of the harbour front without the noise of cars was wondeful! everyone was in the 'go slow mode' meaning nothing was rushed or hectic.
there were so many differeant tavernas to choose from to eat in and plenty of seating in cafes and pattiseries to spend the time of day in..
Halki is a very clean and rubbish free island. people are very friendly and willing to help whatever your needs. Beautiful walks and cute little beaches to visit. Take the water Taxi to Kania beach and spend a lazy day being waited on the tiny beach

Halki is a wonderful place to visit, and this Villa is central with a beautifully décor, although its beauty it is not really functional.
the property owner has been very helpful in helping me arriving in the island as I had some problems with ferry cancellation
Central location within easy walking of harbour and beaches. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nicely stocked fridge. It didn't have the amazing views that many apartments have on the front in Halki but this is reflected in a cheaper price. Very friendly owner.
Perfect location with an amazing view over the bay of Chalki. The room was modern, clean and specious. If I return to Chalki I will certainly book this accommodation again.
