We love this hotel. First of all, they served a welcome drink. And the room is upgraded to a suit room for free. Receptionists give detailed information about the city. They served our breakfast in the room. The room was very clean and well decorated. They have private parking for their guests. The location was perfect. And they give us a kavala cookie at check out. This was our first time at this hotel, but this will not be last one.

The apartments are lovely and look exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Everything was new and clean. The view from the terrace to the sea was wonderful. The location is great - it's full of restaurants, shops and very suitable for walking around. Communication with the hosts was very easy and pleasant. If we come back to Kavala again, we would definitely stay there again.

We had a lovely room. The decor was modern, air conditioning and Wi-Fi was very good and reliable. We also received a complimentary bottle of wine and biscuits. The staff at the reception are really nice and helpful, they organised a trip for us. Our favourite part was the indoor spa / pool, which featured beautiful underwater lights. The pool had a Jacuzzi section as well as a back massage waterfall. The spa pool closed at 23:00, we made the most of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

In general, Kavala is a great place for summer vacation - plenty of cool beaches nearby like Iraklitsa, Nea Peramos, and many more (Batis, Tosca Beach). You can even go to Thasos island via ferry for a day. In terms of places to visit in the city (sight seeing), I would recommend visiting the fortress of Kavala (amazing 360-degree view), checking the ancient aqueduct and the museum of Tobacco is also a must.
As for restaurants, most of the tavernas in the city are amazing - it doesn't matter if you are a fan of seafood or not - you'll find everything for every taste. The top 3 I would recommend as a must are Gorgones k Manges, Savvas and Balauro.

We had an absolutely magnificent holiday in Palio, Greece, and staying at Philip's house made the experience even more special. The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and in a perfect location to explore the stunning beaches nearby. Philip was an incredibly gracious and helpful host, always available to recommend the best local spots to eat and visit. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, and his hospitality truly made us feel at home. If you're planning a trip to Palio, I highly recommend staying at Philip's place—you won't be disappointed!

My favorite city in Greece!
My favorite city in Greece! Its a must visit, the food, the people, the beauty and charm of this town is unmatched. My tips for places to eat are: Gorgones (Mermaids and guys), Sousouro, Savvas (especially for a great view. For pizza: One piece. For coffee: literally anywhere, the coffe is really good. For gyros: the same as the coffe, good everywhere. :)

Kavala is a very vibrant and busy city built on a cliff top, with a myriad of steep and winding roads and lanes. There is a good selection of places to eat and drink but easier to walk around the town, rather than drive - which is not for the faint hearted.

Very affordable restaurants. Great taxi services that i recommend, because parking in town is a bit of challenge. The famous with its view Briki coffee I recommend to be visited in the early morning if you want to enjoy quiet time, or after 11 AM if you like more people around. We visited 2 times Perdikis tavern, because of its delicious food and mosquito control solution. Batis beach was our top rated beach experience.

We stayed here to be close to the port because we had a ferry ride the next morning, the apartment is clean, the linens are clean and air conditioned, it has a large terrace with a rocking chair where you can sit in the fresh air, it does not have a remarkable view being among blocks but we had enough privacy. recommend
First of all home owner Christos was the best. You dont need to plan. Just ask him. If you want swim he offers the best beach. Dinner Amazing tavern, want to go Thassos, best advices for the trip.

I use to have my variety of coffee every morning with some locals that we had that special conversations.
Also Pavlos(the host) knows all the spots for the best taverns. There you can really experience the simplicity of the local taste.

It was very clean, everything was very new, free parking, great location next to the beach and also on 15 mins drive from one of best beaches in the area. Ten host is ever so welcoming and they have very good advice what to see in the area and where to go. So much to do in Kavala, 6 days for us wasn’t enough. The beaches next to the property were also very good. Lovely 2 km walk by the sea of you want to go to town centre of Kavala.
The hotel is right at the entrance to the city of Kavala, sitting high on a hill with an amazing view of the city. Booking a room with city/sea view is highly recommended. The rooftop bar/restaurant is worth visiting at least once during your stay (best city views). The hotel has a spa/pool/fitness center but there is an extra fee to access.
Right at the heart of beautifıl Kavala. Rooms look to the port and city center. Beautifully designed clean rooms and free close parking space. Rich breakfast is included. It is a beautiful hotel and it is walking distance to every city facility. Beach Kalamitsa is like 7-10 min. with car. The gentleman at the reception really helps.
