Everything was perfect. Nice quiet location with great view and with very friendly hosts. The apartment was amazing, very clean with private terrace. The garden was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety and nice homemade marmelades and fresh fruits from the garden. When we come back to Naxos, we will definitely choose to come back to this wonderful family owned place. :)

Our host was fantastic and made us feel at home. The suite was clean and comfortable, and located near great restaurants and beaches. We were provided with fresh towels and sheets and the suite was clesned regularly. I cannot recommend staying here enough.

The host and chef were very accommodating. The attention to detail from the hotel’s decor (dreamy) to the meals were amazing. The ocean views from the hotel were better than the posted photos. The location iis on the most beautiful beach (least windy beach). Crystal clear water, white sand., and short a walk to rented umbrellas and lounge chairs.
My husband and I lost a day of our reservations due to the high winds (led to cancellation of our ferry). The host/owner refunded the lost day without us even asking. We were so pleased and touched.

Nice beachfront location. Very suitable for family vacation. The breakfast is taken with stunning seaview. The restaurant is very cozy, high-quality ingredients and low priced, genuine Greek hospitality. Two sunbeds cost 20-30 € per day, only. Room had full amenities (2 nice terraces, fridge, stove, TV etc). Good Wi-Fi internet.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had the two room apartment. Staff were efficient and helpful. Wifi was weak we could not do our work. Hotel was clean and rooms were serviced daily. Breakfast was good. Location was far from the hubs.

Kastraki is the most windy beach of Naxos : it is excellent for kite or windsurfing but not for resting on the beach to read. Surroundings are quite with some restaurants and small supermarkets. You need a car if you stay at Kastriki.

When I arrived on the terrace was an old bucket with old cleaning water, broom sticks all over the place and beneath at the bottom.od the stairs it was like a trash.
There was an unpleasant odeur when I arrived. Also the fridge was washed with old cleansing water, as it was really stinking.
No bathroom towels, no kitchen basics like a pan or hardly cutlery.
I had to request all a couple of times. Then I was requested to leave the room unthough I had made a reservation for a longer time; all together around 3 weeks!!
I should suppose that I'm the best guest with such a long reservation, but I felt treated in the cleaningness and availability of the basics in the room like the worst! Only Maria tried her best to handle this chaos well, but it was not her fault, she was just left with the results of a lack of love of service and cleaningness and had to handle all my complaints at the desk. But it's not her fault. It felt like because it's the cheapest accommodation they can do whatever they like. But it's not a 20 euro accommodation but 50-70. For this price you expect that the host does his basics, but he didn't. It feels like a money machine. There's just the energy of they just don't care. And you have to ask for everything to get solved. Yes the view is spectacular, but the hospitality and having the feeling that people are trying to to their best is absent..also around the villas there was mess everywhere. Because I was the first guest? This can't be. Worst customer care ever (not because of Maria that does the reception, as she has to handle this mess) but because how the property and me as a guest was received. Literally with a garbage mess in front of my studio and terrace. It took two days before they came to clean in

We stayed 5 days in Naxos at the Kastraki Dunes Resort. We went around the island and we were so glad the we picked Kastraki Dunes to stay. Definitely the best place to stay on the island if you like the beach and rest. The hostess and host were magnificent and even helped with the car rent that was delivered to the resort. 100% recomend Kastraki and Kastraki Dunes to stay in Naxos!

Fabulous beaches and great restaurants. A really relaxing atmosphere - not too busy at the time we went. Close proximity to Naxos town and other places of interest. Recommend hiring a car and it is easy to get around.

Our stay here was perfect.
Our stay here was perfect. Our hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and genuine. They made us feel so welcome and like we were their 'special' guests. The ladies cooked wonderful home-made dishes every evening and Nikos makes a mean G&T too! The accommodation is spotlessly clean and tidy and perfectly comfy. The setting around Kastraki Naxou is incredibly peaceful and calm; the grounds are beautifully maintained and the views to the sea are therapeutic. The trip down to the nearest beach isn't the prettiest, but we walked there most days and it's worth every step to what we think is the best beach on Naxos!
everything! our view was amazing, pool was fabulous. a delicious breakfast was brought to our room every morning in a basket full of freshly cooked eggs, fresh fruit and veggies, cheese, Greek yogurt, and even fresh squeezed orange juice. the care taker Eddie was the best host I have ever had at a hotel or condo. he made our stay so much better. always helpful when we needed advice or rides. close walk to beach and a great little shop. our room even had a bottle of water in the fridge for us, and a small bottle of the local liquor.
I cannot recommend Akti Kastraki enough. A true home away from home, the whole complex offers a very special experience. The rooms are brand new, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beachfront is very pretty, and not crowded at all, even in August. You also get to catch beautiful sunsets over the island of Paros. Akti’s entire team is extremely friendly, attentive, efficient, and family-like, making the whole vacation a true pleasure. I came back recharged. Thank you Akti!
beautiful rooms and private pool, the place was always quiet as not many rooms but always small amounts of people around so not baron. the rooms,footpaths and gardens are all immaculately kept. we ended up making friends with one of the family who own the place ‘nicos’ who was a brilliant host, telling us all about the island and local liquers all whilst we sampled them at the poolside bar. His hospitality really set this hotel apart from the ‘normal bigger hotels’
Our room was very comfortable. The bed was good and the balcony was nice. The whole place was clean and service worked well. The staff was super helpful and friendly. And the pool area was superb! Furthermore, buffet breakfast was abundant, versatile and tasty. We arrived from crowded and busy Santorini and Kastraki area was so much better: peaceful, simple, beautiful beaches and good value for money. The best spot during our island hopping holiday.
Don’t look anywhere else, this is the place to be in Naxos. Ideally located in a very quiet location, though close enough to many good restaurants, pristine beaches and both the main town of Chora and the villages in the mountains. Stunning view from the terrace where you can watch the sun set from your own private swimming pool. The owners were absolutely nice and provided us with very good recommendations.
The landlady was fantastic and very helpful. On the top of everything, she cleaned the whole house every day, really beyond expectations. Everything was excellent, highly recommended. Gorgeous Kastraki beach and Glyfada restaurant in the immediate vicinity, also the super market and other wonderful beaches, e.g. Alyko beach and Mikri Vigla beach. A wonderful base for exploring this beautiful island.
Very nice villa with all necessary equipment for the kitchen and bathrooms. Super calm area ideal for relaxing and walking distance to amazing beaches in Kastraki. Restaurants and supermarkets also close by. Parking available and very comfortable place. The host is available and it was very easy to check in and out. Changing and cleaning during the stay was a nice unexpected surprise!
Eleni is a fantastic host! she really went the extra mile to help us enjoy our stay. the hotel is very small and doesn’t have a pool. however, the nicest beach of our entire trip to Greece is found a few hundred meters directly down the lane from the hotel. the hotel offers parasols and beach chairs to guests and there is a fantastic taberna for meals right on the beach
Scala Apartments is a lovely family hotel, the best ever we've tried around Greece. We wanted a calm and quiet place without noise, and that really was it. Beautiful garden with full of flowers and chilling places, tiny room with comfortable bed, a terrace with see view. Very kind people, excellent breakfast and dinner (also with homemade things).
Excellent location, wonderful hosts, super friendly and they appear to genuinely enjoy what they do, each in their field. Super clean, looked-after premises, and the food is a must-try not only for those who stay there but for anyone on Naxos who wants to eat well. Dining on Naxos is an embarrassment overall, but the chef Pavlos stands out.

In a great location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, very relaxed atmosphere. This part of the island is a nice way to experience all that Naxos has to offer while staying in the less busy/built up areas.

Villa Kastraki is in a quiet and picturesque location, close to the sea but also easy to reach other villages. The rooms were clean and very well equipped and the family who runs it very hospitable.
The pool, location and staff at the hotel were absolutely lovely! Very family friendly, close to the beach, restaurant a short walk up the road. Very peaceful and quiet! Aki and Giaota were great!
