The rustic charm and isolation was just what we were looking for. Sotula is a charming stone cottage and in an ideal location to visit all the sites on the Mani Peninsula, if you have your own transport. Roula, the host, was ever willing to help us with the most trivial of requests and help with the way things worked in the accommodation.

The views are gorgeous and the pool amazing (its open until 11pm so we really enjoyed it in the evening! The room was big and comfortable and our balcony huge! The breakfast was very big (it was the same every day though) and the stuff very friendly and helpful.

Review of our stay at the Alika resort June 2024
This was our second stay at the Alika resort having visited for the first time last year for 3 days in June. This time we stayed for 5 days and we are already looking to book again for a longer stay later this year. We love everything about this small hotel. The location, the traditional architecture, the beautiful rooms, the breakfasts, the friendliness of the staff and views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. Each morning, we had the delicious breakfasts on a balcony overlooking the sea and there are a couple of nearby places to eat in the evenings. Just a couple of miles away you have Gerolimenas with its cafes, tavernas and hotels. This area of the deep Mani offers breathtaking scenery, remote quiet beaches, traditional villages with their tower houses and plenty of history. Alika resort is the perfect getaway for people looking for peace and tranquillity. We look forward to escaping there again soon.

My wife and I along with our young little boy spent a long weekend in Kaseas Boutique Hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and attentive with all our requests, friendly and very discrete at the same time. The room we stayed in had a cave style feeling with a contemporary and traditional design which was something very unique and together with the large Jacuzzi made it the perfect place of peace and relaxation. Breakfast for us was a highlight of our stay since apart from the very tasty menu and variety of options provided, we would wake up and be served in the hotels beautifully built shaded garden in between the traditional stone buildings with a nice sea view. This alone would give us great energy and really felt we were in a very special place. The Hotel location was excellent right in front of the main strip of this little scenic village and right next to the sea and beach. Anything needed is in walking distance including Restaurants, Cafes. Overall The beautiful scenic fishing village of Gerolimenas in combination to the great hospitality we received in this beautiful hotel made our stay memorable and something that we will definitely repeat in the near future.

The view is amazing. It is a very quiet area. The house is beautiful and big with everything you need.
The area is peaceful and quiet. There are only a few people living in this area and the small villages have preserved their ancient charm. You can visit a few pebbly beaches, which are really beautiful and unique, as you won't find any crowd here. It is not touristy at all. If you long for a quiet, peaceful holiday, this is the perfect place for you. There are a lot of small and interesting churches from the middle ages, and you can visit Tainaron, which is the southernmost part of the Greek mainland with the beautiful lighthouse (still working) in a dramatic place. You can visit the remains of the Gate of Hades, the Temple and Death Oracle of Poseidon and you can see an interesting and amazing mosaic from the ancient times.
