Simos was the outstanding place but Nisi is also beautiful.
Harbour side tavernas and a small church across a causeway complete this idealistic gem.

A really good weekend escape.
A really good weekend escape. Although far from Athens worth the visit. Selected period is quiet and not crowded. Polite and friendly people , nice restaurants and tasteful dishes . Stunning beaches and emerald waters will keep you there for hours .

We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

The place is so incredible and I am empty for words: a real hidden gem off the beater track. The most beautiful beach I’ve seen in my life ever was Paralia Simos: so picturesque and I fell in love with it’s turquoise waters, almost like a color of Powerade. No crowds of tourists and rather Greeks coking there. As a result prices are more reasonable than in other more touristy places. I rented a bike on battery and every single point on the island became accessible within 15 minutes. Recommended to everyone who would like to discover and almost undiscovered place in Greece.

Favorite place was definitely Simos beach in the morning, it's just a paradise.
Great choice of tavernas by the port, very lively in the evenings.
You need a car to explore the island, or a bike if you can tolerate the heat in the high season.
Elafonisos is absolutely worth visitig!

You can hire bicycles to get around
to other beaches as there are no taxis (not sure about a bus, didn’t see one) The camping ground is amazing, amenities super clean
you can even rent rooms not just tents and not expensive at all.
Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from
The property was very close to the port, a quiet beach and to restaurants . The rooms were large and very clean. These rooms were the best I’ve seen in Greece . I’ve traveled to many locations but have never found a better property than this ! Niko, the owner is super friendly and super approachable. He reached out to me several times to make sure everything was okay and asked if we needed anything . I highly recommend this property to all who are looking for a place to stay on this beautiful island !
Absolutely perfect. Right in front of a beach and all restaurants and shops right next to it. The place was clean and spacious. Good lighting and everything was great. The Host was beyond helpful. She made things as easy as possible for us. From contacting us before even arriving to helping us find the place and sharing places to visit. Always around if you need anything. If I ever come back to this island I will try to stay here again for sure.
From our point of view, Coralli Rooms is an exceptional place to stay at Elafonisos.Great accomodation, good breakfast and excellent location...it is pure value for money.parking the car is not a problem and there are so many restaurants and eateries close by with a vibrant night life.the nice beach is so close by that you can just get up from bed and walk straight to the water...
We loved our stay at Studios Maniati- it’s in a great location above the town with great views over to the mainland and for the Peloponnese sunsets. The apartment was spotless, the bed really comfortable - which is a massive win for me. Finally Alexandra is fabulous, really friendly and on hand to ensure you have a great stay.

Katarina doesn't speak English, but her warm-hearted smile and kind generosity speak all languages of the world. The cooled watermelon would be enough for me, but she even gave us the beach set, so we could be away from the sunbeds/crowds - which is priceless! The Elafonisos experience simply wouldn't be the same without her thoughtful generosity.
Pleasant, clean apartment in a wonderful location on the island of Elafonissos, only 4 km from beautiful beaches with fine white sand. Right next to the harbour with a wide range of restaurants, but still a quiet and peaceful place. Pleasant hostess and as a ’bonus‘ a glass of her own pickled olives on departure.
The property is very outdated especially the room it’s convenient to Simos Beach. that is the only reason why I made my booking there the room is very old the sheets and the blankets feel like cardboard it’s dusty and a lot of spiderwebs I don’t mind staying at an outdated place but it has to be at least clean.
My mother loved the hotel! It was clean and tidy with a lot of plants and a lovely swimming pool. The staff was really nice and welcoming. Vasiliki helped my mom with the places to eat and were to go. The beach was so beautiful and generally the island was beautiful and welcoming!
Best location for a beach vacation. The facilities are very modern and it is clean. Mattresses and pillows are from Cocomat and high quality. The staff is eager and helpful. There is also a pool area in case it gets too windy on elafonisos. Also the breakfast ist very good.
Very friendly and helpful staff - Nikos met us at the ferry and guided us to the hotel. Ample and easy parking. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.
The room was comfortable and clean. Could have used a coffee maker and some coffee.
Our stay was excellent: Kalomoira was a wonderful host and made us the most incredible breakfast in the morning! The apartment had everything we needed and is in a great location a few steps away from all the restaurants and the beach.
If I could give 12 stars I would. The hotel is like a gem a few meters away from the best beach I have ever seen. Amazing facilities, great breakfast, excellent staff and the owners are very friendly and personable.
Nice, large room. Hostess left coffee, cookies and several other goodies for us to use. Everything you might need in the compact kitchen for a couple days. Close to beach and a short walk to the town/marina.

Lots of people in the camping, still the cleaning team managed to keep shared spaces (bathroom / toilets / kitchen) clean. congrats to them.
