A really nice stay. We stayed for 3 nights in Elafonisos, we would recommend it for a short stay. For us it was a bit long 3 nights, 2 is ideal.
Breakfast is really good and diverse, lots of options and they keep replenishing every dish so you don’t run out of food whenever you decide to eat between 8:30-10:30.
Rooms are nice, bed comfortable.

Lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble.. Get us a downstairs room and served us breakfast on our balcony. We will certainly stay there again. Good food and a private beach with free loungers. Owner was very sweet and lovely. Very cute place to stay with good access for someone with mobility problems.

YiaYia who owns the property is a beautiful person. No English but my wife is Greek and they had a wonderful chat.
5 hours away from Athens airport. You can reach the island with a 10-minute ferry ride from the mainland. Car price for the ferry is 10€. 3 € per person. Forget all the beaches you've ever seen. Simos Beach is heaven on earth. You will think you are in a postcard, around the church, in the narrow streets and in all the areas in the island centre. A quiet island. There are also great restaurants and bakeries.

Simos was the outstanding place but Nisi is also beautiful.
Harbour side tavernas and a small church across a causeway complete this idealistic gem.

A really good weekend escape. Although far from Athens worth the visit. Selected period is quiet and not crowded. Polite and friendly people , nice restaurants and tasteful dishes . Stunning beaches and emerald waters will keep you there for hours .

We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

The place is so incredible and I am empty for words: a real hidden gem off the beater track. The most beautiful beach I’ve seen in my life ever was Paralia Simos: so picturesque and I fell in love with it’s turquoise waters, almost like a color of Powerade. No crowds of tourists and rather Greeks coking there. As a result prices are more reasonable than in other more touristy places. I rented a bike on battery and every single point on the island became accessible within 15 minutes. Recommended to everyone who would like to discover and almost undiscovered place in Greece.

Favorite place was definitely Simos beach in the morning, it's just a paradise.
Great choice of tavernas by the port, very lively in the evenings.
You need a car to explore the island, or a bike if you can tolerate the heat in the high season.
Elafonisos is absolutely worth visitig!
The apartment is spacious and very nicely furnished. The sundeck is huge and amazing! The couch in the living room turns into a comfy bed (they don't always!) The location is also very good. On walking distance from the restaurants. Kalomoira, the owner, is a very nice and super helpful lady. The island of Elafonisos is really pretty. We went to Simos beach. Soooo beautiful! Lovely warm water to swim in (we were there in October). We only had 1 night and 1 day here, we would have liked to stay much longer! Will be back here, for sure
The hotel is in a beautiful location just a few minutes walk from Simos beach. There is a bar/restaurant where you can have something during the day, the menu includes only a few things but the quality is excellent and the atmosphere is very quiet and relaxing. The rooms are modern, clean and quite spacious. There is also a small kitchen. The staff guys are very kind.
We truly recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Elafonisos island. The hospitality of the owner was outstanding. The amenities provided could cover any need and should you find something missing i am sure Mrs Maria would find it for you. We will visit again this place for sure!
This is a find! If, like us, you’re after a taste of old Greece, the hospitality, the wonderful people, the sea views, the amazing food, the relaxation, the wonderful sandy beach right on your doorstep-oh and add the comfiest sunbeds and fabulous beach restaurant….look NO FURTHER!!!
