The view from the room was magnificent. Mary was very kind. She gave us directions regarding all the beaches that are in the area. The dinner at their restaurant was also very good.

You all were so helpful, thanks alot 😘.... Apartment it's very clean and super cosy with lovely sitting area in front and it's amazing views around. We can highly recomment, and for sure it wasn't ours last visit to Elafonisi resort to George's apartments 😊Location it's fantastic , just 10minuts walk to one of the most amazing beach,, Elafonisi,, of the Crete what it's something absolutely spectacular and can't be missed when visiting Crete. Not too many people for this huge pink sandy large beaches, plenty around such as kiosks, restaurant with amazingly teisty food and beatifull sunset. All there it's there for daily needs. Location for the famous beach was great altough the overall area is like a large car park.
The apartment however was first class and afforded a sense of privacy despite the latter.
A good option if looking for more of a stay in the area rather than bussing in with the masses
Elafonisi is the most overrated beach in Crete.
Super crowded. The sand is not pink. It's a normal sand. The beach resorts are expensive, usually they are full and the chairs are attached. On top of that, you need to walk 20 minutes to reach the sea.

Breathtaking natural lagoon which everyone is coming to enjoy. Get here before the buses arrive at 10 am or come after 4pm when buses leave otherwise I think it is too crowded. Consider staying overnight at Lafo Rooms.

Elafonisi Beach, with its unique pink sand, is undeniably stunning. However, during the day it can become extremely crowded, making it challenging to find sunbeds. Nevertheless, as the day transitions into evening, the beach becomes quiet, serene, and free from crowds, allowing you to fully appreciate its true beauty, especially during the magical moments just before sunset.

What a ZOO!!!
What a ZOO!!! It’s mid October and the place is still super crowded. Cannot even begin to imagine the crowds in July or August.
Crowds aside… it is an amazing place… beautiful, clear water.. great for young families. One can find a bit of privacy across the water on the spot.

A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete...
A truly beautiful beach, the nicest I have visited in Crete so far. It is also a very valuable and protected natural site. The beach offers a very varied environment. There is classic seating on the shore under umbrellas and bars. Towards the sea you can enjoy the shallow beach and the sea waves. On the other side there is a quiet shallow lagoon with several islets and a sand spit connecting the coast with the island of Elafonisi. The lagoon is just a paddle away. If you go further, the other side of the island is again washed by the sea and there is also quite a nice snorkeling environment. Because of the size and ruggedness of the place, you can easily find a space for yourself. But there are a lot of people. There is little shade on the spot, so the more experienced ones will occupy the better spots first thing in the morning. It's good to have something to protect you from the sun. You have to go back to the beginning for drinks and toilets, so count on that. Plenty of space to park on site, just the last stretch is not a groomed road so watch your tyres.
Nice hotel close to Elafonisi beach (close with car, and the road is easy).
This year the bathroom is also renovated (the furniture in the room was already upgraded previous year). So the bathroom is quite good now.

It's worth to spend several days here.
The House is located only 3min drive to a number of beaches including Elafonisi, but in the same time is in a quiet area surrounded by olive tree orchards. By foot you can go to a couple of local tavernas for good food and drink. Hosts are very pleasent and you will be supplied with homemade olive oil, and fresh fruit. Of course the house is fully supplied with everything you may need and even more. We strongly recommend for families. When we return to Elafonisi we will definitely stay here again.
Everything was perfect considering our requests! Spend one night in a comfortable and inexpensive room close to Elafonisi beach. We have pleased that there is free parking, the room had a fridge, kettle, coffee and even some dining appliances. There is also a hairdryer and shower accessories. Everything what you need after spending all day on the beach. 😁
The location is perfect to explore the Elefonisi area.
Elafonisi beach is ok, but is a tourist trap. We went to some other beaches nearby that were awesome.
A few good restaurants close by, and a mini market with some essentials. The pool was great, actually, the pool and location are the only good things about this property.
Beautiful, clean rooms with great views! Very short, easy drive to Elofinisi. The rooms were full of great design touches and the bathroom was the nicest we'd encountered in our whole 14 days in Crete. We only stayed one night, but definitely would have enjoyed more.
The staff at kochilas was friendly and accommodating! The rooms are quaint and small but it's no problem because if you're booking a room near elafonisi beach, you probably will spend all of your time at the beach! I'd also recommend visiting white lake too.
The room is great, very new, clean and bed was so far the most comfortable in our crete travelling. 10min from elafonisi beach, I suggest you take a room at smaroula and see the beach at sunset and sunrise where literally you can have it all for yourself.
Everything was amazing. There is no view from the apartment but it`s super close to the Elafonisi beach. You will walk back and forth. There is also options of restaurants and a market close by. The place is super cute and very new. I recommend 100%.

It was so close to the beach! Staying in the area really allowed us to make the most of the beach in a way we couldn’t have done on a day trip. Very basic room but it was all we needed for a short stay.
Extraordinary view of the bay of Elafonisi which we visited twice then preferring Kedrodasos Beach. Kosmos Taverna superb and they treated us very well as daily lunch visitors.
