Agios Nikitas is a charming little one-street village with everything you need within walking distance. It has two or three grocery shops, a decent ice cream place, and two lovely souvenir shops (in May). We loved the variety and hospitality of its tavernas and cafes on the beach.
Be aware that parking is not permitted in the town, so if you are coming by car, you will have to park on the main road.

A very pretty area, friendly people. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, 3 nice places to sit and have a coffee looking out to sea. One cobbled street down to the beach or up to main road that has bus stop to Lefkada yown or Kathisma beach. The street has a couple of ice cream parlours and some nice stalls selling jewellery, beach towels magnets etc

Small but busy village in the high season. Great mix of visiting nationalities. Good restaurants and bars - very family friendly. Small beach in the town - close-by Milos beach is bigger, less crowded - but only accessible by boat (runs regularly from Agios Nikitas on days when the sea is not too rough) and across the hill top. (Walking is VERY hilly and challenging in the heat … possibly easier in footwear more sturdy than flip-flops). Totally worth it though ….

You cannot get a car down to the beach as the village has a pedestrian zone from the main road, only delivery vehicles allowed. Parking at the top is very limited and all spots seem to be occupied all of the time. Very busy and crowded at night, if you want to eat go early or expect to be shoulder to shoulder with hordes of others. There are a couple of supermarkets/souvenir shops. Buy your anti mosquito coils here to keep the bugs at bay. There is a bakery, and plenty of bars and restaurants. The owners and staff at most of the places are very friendly and helpful. The beach fills up rapidly from first light, don't expect an Ionian paradise of sun and solitude, it's not going to happen! Steep walk back up the hill, flip flops not recommended. There were plenty of visitors puffing and panting at the top from exertion in +35 C temperature.

Great small village in Greece with an access to a good beach as well boat service or a short ride to many others. Wonderful options of bars cafe and restaurants. Great beautiful nature without having to go too remote for it. Super easy to get around.

Fine selection of traditional tavernas and bars lining the attractive, unspoilt pedestrianised thoroughfare down to the beach, with a few handy shops and supermarkets but mercifully no loud music. Pretty but busy small beach with safe swimming for families. No sunbeds so take your own sun umbrella! Useful water taxi (3 Euros each way) to the beautiful nearby Milos Beach - for the more energetic it can also be walked, but involves a steep climb/descent. Ayios Nikitas is the Greece of 25-30 years ago (apart from the prices!) and a real gem - well worth a visit.
A small hotel with less than 20 rooms, our room was a great size with a balcony with stunning views. The room was cleaned daily and the towels changed every few days. WiFi available and worked well. Thr owner was always around, super friendly and chatty, she arranged our taxi transfer from airport and back. Great location, 5 mins up to bus stop and approximately the same down to the beach. Fridge and kettle in the room which is always handy.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location in the centre of Agios Nikitas, which is a beautiful village with excellent restaurants and easy (walkable) access to 2 fantastic beaches.
Panos and the team are perfect hosts - welcoming, friendly and always on hand to help with the queries/advice/recommendations etc. they provide bus info, booked our onward taxi to Lefkada and many more!
After a long holiday in Lefkada and staying in different places we came back here because it is one of the best accommodations.
The hosts are super nice, the fantastic landscape, the very pleasant garden with many relaxation areas, you can even work remotely, it is perfect.
The rooms are clean, the location is great, you can quickly reach many beaches or restaurants. We will be back!

The hotel is located in the city center close to Agios Nikitas Beach and the restaurants and shops, it's also next to the path that leads to Mylos Beach over the mountain. The hotel has a parking space, which is an advantage, because it's difficult to find free spaces in the city. The room was spacious and there was a great view of the area from the pool terrace.
Eleftheria was very friendly and helpful. The location is just a few minutes from the beach which was both convenient and quiet. We were given an upgraded room with an ocean view. Thank you very much! Eleftheria knew the nights were cool so she provided us with an extra blanket which was perfect. She also recommended the best taverna for dinner!
Very friendly host, location was near restaurants and walking distance from Milos Beach. Also parking available, which is not a luxury in this area. You could make the room very dark at night with the window shutters. Nice pool with a nice view of the mountains and sea. Lovely breakfast. High value for money considering the location.
We only stayed here for one night during our stay in Lefkada but next time we come we are definitely going to stay for longer. Lovely place, comfy beds, lovely common areas and super close to Kathisma Beach & Agios Nikitas town. The host also was super nice afterwards and posted my bikini back to me that I had left in the apartment!
A lovely hotel in a great location in the beautiful Agios Nikitas. 10 min hike from Milos Beach and a 2 min walk to Agios Nikitas beach. I stayed on the last weekend of the summer season so the hotel was extremely quiet. Staff were very warm and friendly. Would recommend a deluxe room, nicely refurbished with sea views.

- the rooms are nice and clean and have balcony

The villas are new and the location is good. Communication with the host was very easy and the host is very friendly. The villas are 5 minutes by car from Kathisma beach. There are some imperfections, but it is understandable since they are very new. I definitely recommend Lavender Villas.
Hotel Nefeli was a perfectly positioned hotel close to walk to all the restaurants /bars and town beach but far enough away to be quiet ( except for the bin lorry at 7am). Nice helpful staff and the room was cleaned everyday to a high standard. We would recommend this hotel

The staff were friendly. The hotel was close to the beach and tavernas. The hotel had sun umbrellas and beach mats that you could take to the beach, which was a bonus. Breakfast was great.
