Agia Marina is a nice and quiet place with a lot of good restaurants, perfect for families. If you like to explore a bit there are amazing beaches you can reach by car and a bit of walking. Close to Chania, easy free parking on the streets.

Some lovely restaurants for evening dining nearby. Rustic Garden was a favourite, and Nymfi was nice from the more expensive range. Good rustic Greek cooking at Romanza Family Tavern and authentic dishes at Mylonas Tavern for the more budget-conscious. Casa Di Mare for beachside dining. Sick of the beach/hotel pool? Then take a 2 Euro bus ride into Chania and explore the old town and the Venitian Port.

Very busy strip of road near the beach crammed with supermarkets and tavernas but once you got off that road the area was wonderful- would especially recommend the Horiatiki taverna for a friendly and genuine Greek meal plus the Drakiana taverna a little way out of town but located on the river and serving the most divine food.
The other thing was the ease of walking around the area with several waymarked routes to explore the countryside plus an easy bus ride into Chania

I booked a full week at Amazon studio and every thing was perfect! The studio is clean and spacious, really close the the beach and 10 to 15 min walk to the center of Agia Marina. It’s also only 20min bus to Chania for less than 2 euros. The room is equipped with AC which is perfect after a day of enjoying the burning sun of Crete in July.
The hosts are really welcoming and you can really feel that it’s run by a family.
I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to enjoy the beauty of Crete!
Good hospitality, kindness, and sincerity in dealing as if you were among your friends and family who love you. The location is excellent, close to bars, the market, and the bus stop to the city center, and the food is good and varied. The hotel manager, Anna, is an angel from heaven. She treats customers with kindness, love, and kindness. She is professional and experienced, Anastasia from the reception is more than wonderful and so are all the staff, thanks to them.

It’s located next to a beautiful beach, has nice rooms with great view to the beach (ours was a sea view room on the upper floor), really rich breakfast, and a nice stuff, (although not personal attitude too much- still it’s not a family business).

The town is really nice and quiet tourist town, offering great restaurants and activities.
The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are having the best time. Location is great right on the beach with plenty of beach loungers. Breakfast is amazing with plenty of choice and the best sea view. From a great welcome cocktail over a handwritten recommendation list, to a goodbye present, you feel very welcome at this hotel.

Villa , which is very tastefully done up , top amenities spacious.. offering an excellent experience for the stay. Hosts are very attentive, caring for the experience, responsive .. location is good wrt having shops around .. nearest supermarket is just 3 mins walk. Not a scenic locale but easy access to beach and restaurants. As an island , Crete was lovely and very warm friendly locals .. rented a car and explored Chania and Rethymno.
The hotel is located in a quiet place, 2-3 minutes walking from the main street where you can find everything you could need (tavernas, restaurants, supermarkets, etc).
On the corner of the main street there's a bus stop where you can get the bus to go to Chania, or to some of the main attractions of the place (Elafonissi and Falasarna beach, for example).
The staff is very friendly and do their best to make you have a wonderful stay.

Staff at the hotel were friendly, accommodating and the 24-hour reception was always available to assist with any needs. The cleaning products provided in my room at Galini Private Pool Suites with Sea View were a thoughtful touch and the refrigerator was convenient for storing snacks and drinks. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were relaxing and luxurious, and the hamam was a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring.
This is probably the best hotel close to Chania and the most beautiful beaches. And I’m saying this based on a deep research but also knowing the other 5 star luxury hotels.
If you want privacy, the best personalized service and experience in front of the sea, this is your place. We were looking for the best, and we clearly found it.

Beautiful hotel. Location was perfect with an amazing view from our balcony. Easy to get to beach and into Chania by bus. Room was exceptionally clean and maintained every day, as was the pool area. Breakfast was everything you could need and was topped up constantly. Owners and staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. We wish we could have had longer there! Thank you for a fabulous stay 😊
Our room was amazing, it had 100% sea view, just as we wanted, the hosts did their best to make us happy. They served Raki :) . If I go to Crete again, I will definitely stay in the same place. First of all we liked the people working at this hotel, the location right on the beautiful beach of Agia Marina, the beautiful garden, a little Eden as the owner described it. I have absolutely nothing to complain about this hotel and will definitely choose Eden Beach Hotel when we will return to Crete.
Arrived to such a warm welcome which continued for the week we were there , nothing was too much trouble and so helpful , spotless clean and great view from our room , bus stopped right outside which was handy as we had stayed in chania for a few days prior, great value for money accommodation
