The day shift staff was very kind and helped us to pick up the right choice - bus express to the airport. If you want a taxi from to the airport be sure you use hotel service otherwise your bill can be different from the flat rate which is promoted to airport taxis.
Good breakfast. Perfect location. Ideal for sightseeing and for transfers to the airport. Clean sheets and comfortable pillows.

With the Acropolis as the jewel in the archaeological crown of Athens, this city is full of history whilst embracing the future. Take a stroll back in time through the neoclassical streets of the Plaka, where you will find tavernas serving tantalising souvlaki and mousaka, street vendors and live entertainment.
A trip to the Parthenon and the Agora top most lists and can also be appreciated from a distance by walking along the Dionysiou Aeropagitou street, which is away from the busy crowds downtown.
Changing the guard occurs every hour on the famous Syntagma Square. From here Ermou Street provides shopaholics with a fashionable retail sanctuary. The up-market districts of Kolonaki and Kifisia are also bursting with fancy boutiques, galleries and bars.
Athens contains some of the finest museums in the world such as the National Archaeological, Acropolis and Benaki Museums. From Athens International Airport to the Port of Piraeus, this is a city bustling with the old and new. On Booking.com you can find everything from modern hotels to a room in a classical building.

Athens is a big city that has the same feel as New York or London. The people are very friendly and helpful. The history and archaeological sights are amazing and should be experienced. The Plaka holds little shops and tavernas with an indoor or outdoor eating experience. It's fun to walk there. Also the Acropolis and the museums are wonderful. You can sit at a "taverna" restaurant and just have a drink or small meal and people watch or enjoy the company of friends and you are not rushed out. It's a big city with a very relaxed feel. We have been twice and would highly recommend! Take a walking food tour of Athens or tour the Acropolis! So fun!

Athens is generally a loud dirty, scruffy city dotted with amazing sites of antiquity and wonder. Stay near those, do not go into the suburbs where the traffic noise is constant and the apartments could be tatty. If anything goes wrong do not expect Booking.com to come to your aid.

We visited Athens in July.
We visited Athens in July. The average temperature there was 36 degrees. It was very difficult to walk around outside and it was difficult to have perfect pleasure.
In the popular tourist centers, the line is long and the heat is unbearable.
The metro there is excellent, it goes everywhere. The average waiting time for a train to arrive is about 3 minutes.

We visit the Greek islands most years and always start and/or finish our trip in Athens. It's a walkable city, with lots of neighbourhoods each offering a different vibe plus lots of places to eat and drink.
Sight-seeing is great; the main city park is a welcome respite from the heat and Plaka is a nice place for shopping and eating. People are generally friendly (although there is an anti-tourist feel in some places at the moment - graffiti with "tourists go home" and "ban the Air bnb".

Athens is the capital of one of the countries considered to be the cradle of western civilization, enough said!
The Acropolis hill, with ancient theatres, the Parthenon temple and the Erekterion temple and its cariatids, alogn with the Acropolis Museum are the highlight of the city. Athens is also rich in amazing archeological sites that are thousands of years old, which are the testimony of the pinnacle of the ancient greek civilization. A must-see for who is interested in ancient history!
Fantastic location, easy walking to all Athens has to offer! Magnificent view of Acropolis from balcony. Lots of little extras such as wine, ouzo and sunscreen provided. Stelios also provided fantastic communication from the beginning of the booking and organised for John the taxi driver to pick us up from airport for 50€. John gave us wonderful information about Greece, and where to go, and Stelios also provided recommendations… we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days in Athens and would definitely 😃recommend the apartment.
Blazer Suites is best accommodation we had in Athens and possibly best experience so far in the capital of Greece. We arrived very early, about 8 am and our room was ready. We slept in huge comfortable bed with variety of pillows and suite was very nicely equipped with everything. The hotel provides excellent breakfast, room service and the pool zone is nice and “frenchy”. The main treasure is Blazer team. They really care to provide excellent service and this is what you never regret you payed for.
This is the second time that my family has stayed at this remarkable apartment. We liked it so much last year that we wanted to return. Odyssey Residence deserves the glowing reviews it receives. It is comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. The washer, dishwasher, and elevator are all extra appreciated, and it is a rare find in Athens to get 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in 1 apartment. My family plans to make this home base whenever we are in Greece.
Very good location and facilities but we loved the most was the excellent staff starting from George at the front desk when we checked in. We had requested an early checking because we reached the hotel by 11am. We got the room by 12. George even offered us a complimentary breakfast while we waited which was much needed after our long flight to Greece . Will definitely stay here again when we come back .
Great location if your flight is out of Athens. The room was clean and very comfortable. I liked the separate bathroom and shower area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also had a great massage after many hours of touring the Greek islands. Thank you for making my last day in Greece a pleasant experience. The food at the roof top restaurant was excellent-sea bass.
Top notch luxury hotel in the area, with very spacious lobby with multiple seating areas, bar and unique rooftop views to the Athens sightings. Great bed, super comfortable and stylish. Food at the great hotel's restaurant was great and abundant. Reasonable prices for autumn so I will highly recommended to my friends who want to visited Greece for vacations.
Getting access and the keys was easy. It is a very big apartment by Greece standards with no tv in the lounge room. It is located a minutes walk from Monastitaki station and an easy walk to the sites of Athens with no tv in the lounge room. Right across the road is a luggage storage shop, Mr John is more than happy to help with no tv in the lounge room.
This hotel is incredible. The reception is super competent and extra friendly. They have the best breakfast I ever encountered in the whole of my trip through 4 islands + Athens, in Greece. The view from their rooftop at night is insane. In the same street, you find the most magical pastry shop ever full of Alice in Wonderland themed deco. Just book it!
everything was beyond amazing. the location is superb. the staff are excellent and the most helpful I’ve ever seen. the rooms are super modern and clean. the food is delicious. honestly the best hotel we stayed in, in all of Greece. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. I would definitely stay here again every time I am in Athens.
Loved the location ,a short walk from syntagma square ,bus from airport stops here.It is just around the corner from Plaka.
We were allowed into our early as we had an early flight into Athens. This was brilliant. Room very good ,quiet .Breakfast excellent .Whats not to like with a view of Acropolis. Service excellent. This hotel was a find .
Very nice new hotel in the city center next to Omonia square.
The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are clean, good new beds. The cost is very affordable. Convenient to get from the airport.
Definitely recommend to visit this hotel if you plan to stay in Greece. I will gladly return to this hotel.
Overall a pleasant experience. Location is convenient. Hotel is clean and well up kept. However breakfast could be much much better. A shame since Greece has such excellent food. The boiled eggs had turned green from over boiling etc. Coffee was not from fresh beans as it is common in many similar rated hotels.
A warm and friendly, English speaking staff, clean, quiet hotel…excellent location (for going into Athens or traveling on to central & northern Greece.) Walking distance to a nice supermarket, 15 min walk to many restaurants. Very nice patio/porch seating for coffee or cocktails, in a garden space.
This was our first time to visit Greece and in Ariston Hotel were treated to a Wonderful staff, comfortable accommodations, great views of athen, tasty and plentiful breakfast, and centrally located to the city metro to acropolis only 10 min, 10/10 would recommend! Loved it!
Overall, this was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in Greece. IT was an amazing location, beautiful and so so so comfy. The breakfast was amazing, the ruins, the turtles, THE ROOFTOP POOL/ RESTAURANT. 1000/10!
Downtown Athens and looking at the Acropolis on the top floor of hotel. The. Pictures cannot same enough. Wonderful. Very inexpensive. Time to go if you can. 3 days are enough. Greece is inexpensive. Travel
This was the best hotel of our trip to Greece. Really comfortable boutique hotel owned by two lovely sisters who really made our stay special. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Really fantastic hotel.
Very well located, rooms are clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner was a delight, he took his time to sit with us and tell us all about Greece and Athens. We will definitely return.
