Athens is my favourite city. I come here many times.
Athens is my favourite city. I come here many times. It’s got so much to see, do and experience. I know it can hustle and bustle just like any other major city. But one can’t get enough of this old, spectacular place. Plaka is filled with shops, cafes, restaurants which you can roam endlessly exploring. The sight of the Acropolis is breath taking, there is always a concert of some sort at the Hrodeo. Transportation is good to get around in. I prefer to walk and discover new cafes, shops etc. There is a warm vibe about Athens. You can go and see Dora Stratou traditional Greek dancing show, museum by Acropolis is a must. Just sitting on a marble doorstep, pavement and people watching with a frappe in hand is exciting. Book a getaway to Athens you will love it!

We have stayed in Athens before and remember well the Greek culture to providing barely adequate service. We find the Athens hospitality staff are generally not friendly and have an “if I have to attitude “
Most of our time was spent in Crete, Folegandros and Milos where the services were excellent.

What can one say about one of the world's most iconic cities. We were on a driving holiday and could only spare two days - you needs loads of time to do Athens. Hop on the Bus gives you a good tour of the city and of course we did the Acropolis which is amazing. We decided to focus on the Refugee exhibition - why the %$^% cannot Putin listen? Truly moving and the past destruction of Cyprus just highlights the need to get Putin out of Ukraine. Do the Hop on the Bus thing and you will find some interesting place as well as the standard museums and archaeological sites

Where we stayed was excellent. There are some parts that, like any city in the world, looked a bit run down and unpleasant to look at, but generally my love affair of holidaying in Greece is still intact. The historical sites where impressive and to see the Acropolis in all its glory was something else.
We used the metro which was great and easy to navigate around.
We enjoyed every second we were there and will definitely return.
We found even in the more touristy areas that food was really reasonably priced and of good quality.
The BEST hotel in Athens without a doubt. The location is superb, come out the door and you’re in the street full of pubs and restaurants. Few mins walk to Plaka and Monasteraki. The pillows and bed are to DIE for. So comfy. The staff are so nice. Kept us up to date by WhatsApp and arranged airport transfers. Loved every second.
Vouliagmeni Suites is a beautiful hotel located on the coast close to Athens, Greece. It is ideal to have a relaxing holiday, the personnel, from the cleaners to reception, (the George s, Dmitris and especially Maria) are superb while Yannis and his colleagues made sure we were fed and watered at all times. Superb!!
Very close to the Acropolis and to other sites in central Athens. The staff was very helpful during our stay. We could leave our luggage in the hotel after check-out for several hours - it helped us a lot. It was a wonderful ending to our archaeological and romantic visit in Greece!
Awesome staff , with pasted smile's across their face's each day.
