We went out of season with few people on the island except the core of locals, most tourist businesses closed.
We chose it as it is small and we expected it to be quiet, and only one hour from Piraeus by ferry. Nearby Aegina is much larger and another option, but you would need your own transport (hire cars available).
in season i could imagine it being super busy and seeming crowded.

Super hospitable and responsive owners, spacious and welcoming apartment. Care taken with the house keeping details. Very clean. Family friendly. Great view. (wake up for the sunrise) Quiet relaxing location that is walking distance to some fun spots. Walking distance from public transport going to the great beaches and Skala with bars, shops and restaurants in Agistri and walking distance to the hydrofoil port heading to. aegina and other nearby islands for day trips. can’t wait to come back!
The location of the hotel is great as it is close to the main port of the island, two supermarkets, and good restaurants. We stayed in a room with a double bed which had a balcony with a beautiful view of the sea. The room was also very clean. Air conditioning worked like a charm. Staff was also extremely friendly and brought our luggage to the main port on the day of our departure.
Very professional, friendly host, very quick to respond to queries via the app. The room was on the second floor with stunning sea views from the balcony. Spacious, very clean. AMAZING mattress, one of the comfiest I've ever had in a hotel room, honestly I just didn't want to get out of bed. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves from the sea across the street.
Location is amazing and the rooms are very well taken care of. We had all amenities needed for our stay, it's very thoughtful. The room was very clean and the owner was very friendly and accommodating for all our needs. The best part is the proximity to the beach and their own little terrace with the direct Seaview. Everything is in walking distance!

Sitting area on room balcony and sitting area in front of hotel overlooking the ocean. 5 minute walk to ferry terminal in Megalochori. The other terminal in Skala is 2km away. Walk way along the ocean to Skala. Also a bus. Maria, works at C View and is very helpful.
We loved hotel Abatis! The people working there made our stay truly exceptional. They gave us tips and good recommendations about our trip, we’re super helpful and kind. Not to mention that the room was really clean and they have an amazing view from the terrace that anyone in the hotel can visit. Also, they have the softest bedsheets!
location is great, it's on the edge of smaller town Megalochori, so it's pretty quiet and sea view is not blocked by other buildings. on the other hand, larger town Skala is in 15 mins walk along the sea, also local bus stop is nearby. room is very clean and cozy, hostess is very friendly and helpful in any way.
Great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Ideal central location for exploring both sides of agistri with bike hire nearby. Room was clean with good facilities and amazing sea view. Restaurant was very reasonably priced compared to the rest of meglachlori with a good variety of dishes to choose from.
This is a beautiful apartment right at the shore line! Agistri is very quiet in the winter, but the water and the forest trails are very beautiful and it is a nice change from busy Athens. Our host was very friendly and helpful! We would love to stay here again the next time we are in Greece!
Our hosts were fantastic - they did everything they could to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The room was cleaned daily and well equipped. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. the beach was just a few minutes walk away and around 15-20 minute walk to Skala.
The location is great, nearby the harbour. You can enjoy a beautiful sunrise from the hotel. Nice bar and they do entertainment once a week. We were able to check in earlier than 3pm. Air cond in the room working perfectly fine and not too noisy.
The location of hotel is excellent with nice view. Bulas family made us feel very welcome, they are friendly and kind. The room was super clean and equipped with fridge and air condition.

The room, the view from the room (a real "sea view"), the staff. The hotel located very close to the port of Skala and there are some very nice beaches in a walking distance. There are many options to eat as well in the area.
The hotel has a great view to the sea and the location is perfect. The rooms are very clean and have balconies with a view to the sea! The breakfast also is good and includes everything. We enjoyed a lot our days in Meltemi.
