The staff went way above and beyond. We lost the last ferry on day one and Maria, the manager, found us a late night boat. Everything was perfect with the stay here. Everyone, absolutely everyone made you feel like you were family. Extra care was provided by Stefanos and Theodorus.
Breakfast was amazing. Way too much, way too good and bonus: each morning had a bunch of freshly homemade dishes.
Tzanis taverna was also something so very different to what travelers are used to. Highly recommend. Staff is more than friendly, they make you feel at home. Food is delicious.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Although the hotel is just a short walk from the center, its slightly removed location provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle, which is a significant advantage. There's also a lovely small beach very close to the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to our wonderful experience. We were especially delighted by the thoughtful complimentary wine and fruit. We are eagerly looking forward to returning and staying at this beautiful hotel again.

In the small town there are numerous good restaurants with traditional Greek cuisine and fish specialties, street food is recommended, pastry shops with hand-made ice cream. The location of the hotel is outstanding. It is located on a hill overlooking the bay. There are amazing beaches nearby, more and more beautiful: Aliky, Megali Amos, St. George and numerous others. Fine sand, shallow clean sea, crystal clear water, lovely beach bars.

Ammouliani is a great place to visit. The beaches are wonderful. There are quite a lot of them, so it is easy to find a cosy spot. I would advise for a family holiday though, as there isn't much night life going on.

Island is the piece of Greece I remember! People from Ammouliani are warm and friendly. Island is green, with a few properties for tourist.
All reastaurants are clean with good honest food. I have impression they serve what they would be eating at their homes. I do appreciate that kind of simplicity and honesty. Beaches and sea is really clean. We were at the Ammouliani on the end of May, and just a few visitors are up to our taste. Highly recommended!

We found some of the best beaches - clean, warm water and good seafood restaurants with excellent view and services. It's quite small, and pretty much all the restaurants and markets were within the walking distance, IF you stay near the center.
Beaches might require mode of transportation other than walking as they 1 to 2km away.
Strongly recommend renting a boat to go to Drenia island or circle around the island to view which beach to stay in the following days.

Ammouliani is a a very typical, small greek island - very beautiful views, calm and relaxed with less tourists.
The village is wonderful - great tavernas with fresh food, a few bars, bakeries, small shops, etc. You can reach all the beaches on the island quickly within just 5 - 10 min drive.
For young couples, we definately recommend Bongo Beach Bar - it's the nicest place on the island to spend your evenings. It's just outside the village reachable by a very short walk.
For dining, our favourite place was Tzanis. However, anywhere you eat on the island, you most probably will not be disappointed and will alwyas be served fresh food.
Another hidden gem is Banana Beach bar - again great for couples but mind the road it's not suitable for low cars.
The other two beaches that we loved the most are of course Alikes beach and Karagatsi beach.
At first I have to say that we enjoyed our stay!
We like location of the hotel. It is secluded place, but still you can reach very easily nice beaches. Still you need car for commuting.
Stuff is friendly, especially in dining area.
Rooms are clean, beds in our room comfortable.
Garden is well maintained.
Swimming pool and pool area clean.
The place is really amazing, brand new, immaculately clean and perfectly decorated!!! the view from the balcony is phenomenal with picturesque sunrises and sunsets!!! there are superb beaches in the whole area!!! the hosts are incredibly welcoming, kind and generous!!! we could not recommend it more for a great family vacation!!!
Small hotel, giant heart! The hotel really is very cute, close to everything, all was clean and the bed so comfortable, the breakfast is amazing and all cooked in the same morning. This hotel has something that make it more nice, Hristos and Maria will make you feel like you are of their family. I can Fully recommend this hotel
Excellent house on a very short walking distance from downtown and a short drive from the best beaches in Ammouliani. The view from the shaded porch was breathtaking every morning welcoming the sunrise. Very kind and kid-friendly hosts who had everything provided. Definitely the best place we have rented on the island.
Everything was great. The house was clean and very confortabile, it has everything you need, from soap and towels till cleaning solutions, close to the best beaches, to market, butchery. Very nice people-the owners. The island was a dream that came true. We'll surely come back again.
The service is better than in 4 star hotel,the room is cleaned every day,clean towels were waiting for us every morning. Mrs. Sofia is a wonderful woman,she would bring us hot breakfast every morning,even though it was not included in the price. We will definitely be back next year.
The location is excellent. The room was clean. Hot water and a well-functioning A/C. Refrigerator, cute balcony. Everything was nice. Additionally, mrs. Sofia is a super nice lady, and she served us as much as she could, giving us direction where to eat, which beaches to visit etc.
The room size was perfect for a couple with a nice small balcony to spend the afternoon if you stay in the hotel.. Nice and clean in general with a small refrigerator. Not so close to the beach but in walking distance from the city center and all the stores. Very friendly staff.

This was a great location, right next to the central port where you can find many shops and also the mini bus to take you to beaches. It was also a short two-minute walk away from a beach and many beaches within walking distance.
