Galini Hotel, hotel in Agia Marina Aegina

Surrounded by lush greenery, the Galini Hotel is situated in a wonderful location. There are comfortable rooms, which contain air conditioning, fridge, a satellite and cable TV, a refrigerator.

I had a wonderful experience at the Galini Hotel. The staff was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time I walked in the door. They also were able to recommend places to get any type of meal that I needed as well. The hotel is extremely clean. Breakfast was delicious. I especially recommend the milk pie. Galini Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the beach and restaurants. The view from my room was great. The bed was very comfortable. During my 1-week stay at Hotel Galini, I was always greeted with a smile and felt at home. I strongly recommend! I hope I will go again.

Svetlana & Michalis Oasis Hotel, hotel in Agia Marina Aegina

Svetlana & Michalis Oasis Hotel is beautifully located on the sandy beach of Agia Marina, on the south coast of Aegina.

Svetlana was a most wonderful host. We couldn’t have asked for anyone nicer, more helpful. As we had to leave early before breakfast she offered us a free lunch or dinner at her restaurant! She carried my case up 2 flights of stairs, gave us beach towels to use. The location was excellent just down some steps and you were on the beach and the sound of the waves from your bedroom. We had a side balcony with a sea view.

Hotel Myrmidon is situated in the heart of Agia Marina, only 70 metres from the beautiful shallow-water beach. It offers free wireless internet and complimentary continental breakfast.

Very beautiful around the property, and views were great from our apartment (we could see the ocean and shops and beach). I liked the balcony and the bed was comfy, property is located in the middle of Agia Marina right next to the supermarket and food places. Staff were friendly and price was reasonable (cheapest I could find on the island).

It is enough to go for long weekend or 3 nights it has enough to offer, but not for super long. It is the best to go off season, because there are few beaches that are beautiful and are empty and available when there is not a touristic season.

This place is perfect for holiday-makers who want to get around quickly, find everything within walking distance and just plan to relax on the beach. Reasonable prices altogether, no luxury resorts. There are better places when you plan to do anything other than just lying on the beach and spend a happy time there.

Agia Marina and the rest of the island offers beautiful...

Agia Marina and the rest of the island offers beautiful beaches, some of them sandy and you can walk out for miles! It can be reached by 30 minute hydro from Athens to Aegina town, then a 20 minute taxi ride. The main town has everything you could need regarding choice of traditional greek and more contemporary restaurants, a few bars, shops and supermarket. For us it was reminiscent of 'old Greece' and not geared up to British tourists, which we loved! Amongst the charm, be prepared for the 'closures' like you may see in any seaside town in the UK, be that hotel developments or shops. A car is useful to visit the islands beaches and ancient landmarks. Aegina needs more tourists, but only those that want to experience Greece.

Perfect if you don’t want chaos. It has 10 restaurants and 2 bakeries. What else do you need. The water is the best water I’ve swam in in my lifetime. There is a ferry from the cove only 1 per day on Hellenic seaways.11:20 departure. It will save you $25 cab ride to the port side of the island.

The Marina is a nice haven in which to stay, everything is to hand and the beach is wonderfully long, ideal location to either take a walk to the little church (recommended) or just sit and soak up the Sun. Restaurants are also plentiful and either on or close to the beach making for a great evenings relaxation with good food and a glass of wine. Its family friendly as apart from the high street you're out of the way of traffic, also the sea is shallow and warm making it safe for a wide age range.

We had a wonderful time staying at Ilida Athens! Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end, and honestly don’t know what else to say. Perfectly suited rooms, kitchen, bed, and shower were all in good condition. The AC saved us from the heat, as well. The views are stunning, and the general vibe is so calm and peaceful you want it to last forever. Huge thanks to Odysseus, and his team. What wonderful people work there. So friendly and eager to help. We will gladly stay there again when on Aegina. Huge recommend, 10/10!

Very well located: 200 m to the beach and 50 m to the main street, still quite. Friendly and disponible personal. Cozy appartment despite little space and no view. Large balcony. Climatisation ok. Neighbourhood: good atmosphere on the beach bars and restorants on the beach ( we tried these ones only). Surroundings: we made an evening walk (high t°) to the Aphaia temple - closed by that h but great view. Other locations reacheable by scooter (20-30e/day), e bike (25), taxi (20-40/ round trip): St Nektarios Monastery, Aegina

Well, eventually, when we arrived to the hotel the guy at the front desk informed us there was some problem with our room so they provide us another room in the hotel next to Liberty II, it's called Rachel Hotel. It was the same price, similar room, same service and we were very grateful for providing us accommodation without paying anything extra. The breakfast was exceptional and it was provided a wide range of selection. The room was beautiful, neat and clean, absolutely recommended! (Rachel and Liberty II as well :D )

Tucked away a 10 minute walk from the town of Agia Marina, is this gem. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were just perfect with a view of the bay and the town. The breakfast was fantastic and served in a spacious area including a large balcony overlooking the beautiful crystal clear sea. The hotel's private beach was well kept and just a short walk down. The town folk were very friendly and the food was excellent. We will be back here in the future.

The host Giota was exceptional, trying her best to cater for my needs. She was letting me to choose the room out of 2, ordering taxis, making calls, providing the breakfast pack as i had to catch the early ferry on the last day of stay. The room was very good, the bed was reasonable size, superking, and exceptional quality mattress. The hotel is a family business and has it homey touch, well presented and looked after property. Was very pleased with my choice of stay there.

It was as same as i expected from previous reviews. Aggelini is very kind person ready for help in every moment. Room was very comfortable and furniture is almost new what is very rare for whole island Aegina that is stoped in 60', where is almost imposible to find normal room. But just sitting on balcony or in garden surrounded with all of these pine and sea scents in the air is worth of visit.

We came quite late and were probably the latest check in of the day but Feli was waiting for us there with a smile, ready to help. After he checked us in, he offered us water and some welcome feta cheese and was really keen to help us. The room had all the amenities one would need and the balcony with the palm trees was just perfect. If you're ever in Aegina, do pay Posidon Hotel a visit!
