We initially booked a room on the first floor but had to move because the air-conditioning was broken and were allocated room 24,a twin bedroom with lovely sea views. The room itself was dated but comfortable enough for our 4 night needs. This hotel is in a row of three and they are all old fashioned. It has a small lift and is close to the town and all amenities. The receptionist,Martha, was extremely pleasant and we wish her well..And the sunsets..

Aegina Town is a vibrant place full of cafes, restaurants, clothing and tourist shops. There are fruit sellers beside the marina selling the most delicious fresh fruit. It’s easy to visit the rest of the island using the local buses which cost only 2 Euros. A day trip to Ag Marina is highly recommended if you like swimming and sunbathing. The last group of beach umbrellas are free to use. You can buy drinks and food from the restaurant behind. They do beach service. Perdika is a nice day trip, especially if you go to Moni Island as well.
The Temple of Aphaia and Palachora are easily accessed by the local bus service. I enjoyed eating at Dromaki, where I had melt in your mouth, slow cooked lamb.

Aegina is a very pretty town with ferries coming and going all day, every day. Its only 40 mins from Piraeus, but a world away from the city. I visited in off season - November - but the weather was lovely at 23*C. There are plenty of places to eat along the waterfront, and it is an easy place to explore by walking, bus or taxi. You can hire bikes too just opposite the port. I visited the ruins & museum at the end of town; and travelled to other places on the island including the Temple of Aphaia, Agin Marina, and Paliachora. The people are very friendly. I could have easily stayed longer!

I Have grown up in Aegina seen it change and expand but it...
I Have grown up in Aegina seen it change and expand but it still keep a charm about it ,where there used to be little cafes bakeries and all sundries are now well expanded bars. The back street now have a myriad of shops and all you need provision wise, the old fish market survives and is renowned for its fresh fish and restaurants serving the same all the way back to Athens .
It gets now very busy at the weekend as the Atheans flood back from the city .the town prides itself on its impressive ancient history and modern cultural endeavours galleries and festivals . There are not the boys on tour nonsense beer bellies rowdy 'go on down it Dave' ! of other big islands which i have also lived on in Greece. the larger groups are made of the sailing fraternity so you may get a group of 10 Dutch, German or English but they have a different and more respectful etiquette, the bars are very much for Greeks of all ages with the tourist filling the other seats in harmony . it can be noisy as the ferries bring in and take out persons and trade all day ,but it settles again as the ships leave .

A higgledy piggledy jumble of small streets with both traditional and modern shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Plenty of scope to wander, too small to get lost in. Pistachios for sale everywhere: ultimately I chose to get mine from Mourtzis at P. Irioti 57, and am very happy I did. Eating: for simple, reasonably priced, fresh and delicious Greek food, and excellent, friendly service I would recommend O ΤΣΙΑΣ (Tsias) along the waterfront. Don't miss the Archeological Museum - it's absolutely fascinating.
This hotel is very cute, comfortable and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the room although quite small, was very clean and comfortable. I loved the fresh smell of towels and linen in the room. The view was nice, the area is quiet and we could see the ferries docking in and out of the port. Aegina town is quite small but the hotel is literally a minute or two walk away from the port and a nearby beach. The breakfast was quite alright as well and the small yard with tables and chairs under a lemon tree was so lovely.
Wonderful, traditional, tastefully and beautifully furnished hotel set in paradise gardens. Super, well equipped room with a spacious balcony, overlooking the beautifully kept flower filled gardens, the Aegean, pastichio orchards and the Temple of Apollo. Numerous places within the grounds to sit and enjoy the generous breakfast with all the homemade offerings or to simply wander around, admiring nature. A five minute stroll to either the beach or pretty Aegina Town. Thank you for a lovely stay.
I have stayed here before many times ,the sea view rooms, are for the view themselves ,well worth the money .The hotel is a lovely base to breakfast ,dine ,swim and shop from .There is noise from the the port but that's to be expected as its the clock for the towns activity as ferry's come and go , So if you enjoy a bit of bustle along with the quiet all good and allows you to go from shutting your bedroom door to foot into the warm Aegean water, circa 3 minutes.
A nice quiet spot just on the outskirts of the main town but in walking distance, with beaches nearby and a good supermarket about 10 minutes away on foot.
The landlady Rula is an Angel. I have a knee injury which restricted my mobility and Rula just took me wherever I needed to go. A warm and kind person who made it possible for me to enjoy my time in AEGINA town.
There was a kettle, fridge and utensils and breakfast snacks and coffee.
Everything you need.
The place is extremely well located, in the centre of Aegina town and at walking distance from the harboiur. If you have a car, there is a public, free, parking nearby. The flat is modern, clean. There were some - dead - corkroaches on the floor and the bath towels were hard and rough. The mattress was far too soft, but I understand this is personal taste, others may like it like this. The keys were on the door when we arrived.
- the staff was very friendly and helping, even despite some language barriers. we had half a day to stay, but did not have that night booked, they let us check out later, which was vert nice
- the daily cleaning was very handy
- super nice location, very central, close to the beach, port where ferry comes and departs and a lot of lovely coastline restaurants
- overall value for money was excellent
The host was incredibly hospitable, ensuring that every detail was taken care of and making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering easy access Aegina Town and near by beach by foot. The apartment exceeded all my expectations. It was a beautifully decorated space that felt both cozy and luxurious. The amenities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Staff were really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Originally a room for 2 people, we asked for an extra bed in our room and they were more than happy to make it happen. Also, the room was really clean, with cleaning taking place every day. Finally, the location is great! Close to every restaurant and bar in Aegina town and the port.
Wonderful place to stay at Aegina island. The guest house is very fresh, newly renovated and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Private bathrooms and kitchenettes make staying there perfectly comfortable. The pool is a gem! Hosts were kind and friendly to us. Would highly recommend this place to anyone!
Cozy little apartment right in the heart of Aegina's old town port. There are restaurants right out the door and everything was walking distance. It's quiet and comfortable. The air conditioning works great. The views are spectacular. Nice and clean! Thanos is a fantastic host and easy to communicate with.
The pool was very clean, the hotel was very calm and clean. Family welcoming, couldn't have been kinder, it's a quiet spot. I loved the beach across the street. The ambiance was very quiet. Lots of marble. A proper old school hotel. Excellent experience. 10 min walk to town. I loved my stay and extended.
Staff upgraded us to a newly renovated apt operated by the hotel, but a few blocks away. It was lovely to have such a spacious apt with a living room & bedroom and two balconies. It was equipped with a partial kitchenette which was useful, but awkwardly situated next to the bathroom.
A small family run hotel, amazing staff always happy to help, felt like family. Excellent location within walking distance to all Aegina city attractions, ferry port and restaurants. Had a nice room with very comfortable bed, refrigerator and a balcony facing the beach.
Great location , exceptional and so des ready host Nectaria has taken care on every little details putting the place together!!
On foot you can reach the rocky beach for a swim or on short car ride to Aegina town .
Quite , beautiful terrace views and sunset to enjoy
The location is excellent, walking distance to the port and all the shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with a pretty lobby and good Wi-Fi. The front desk staff were helpful. The island is lovely, with a good variety of sites and scenery.
Amiable, knowledgable staff. Good, varied breakfast (they serve; from a buffet table). Plenty of coffee. Very dependable internet and top-notch air conditioning. Lovely, lush gardens. Patio outside several rooms. Easy walk to center of town
The apartment was lovely and quiet yet the location was perfect for Aegina Town, the harbour and the beach. The owner could not have been more helpful. I really enjoyed my stay!
The area has availability of parking and the hotel offers 3 places. Generally good location for walking to the center. Good wifi provided for free and generally large rooms.
