The rooms have top to floor glass windows, making the views incredible. Close to nature with the sound of birds. The location of the hotel is slightly remote, but adds to the alluring scenic opulance. The hike to the nearby forest is a definate must. The indoor pool with great views of the mountains is certainly inviting.

This was my favourite stay in all of Georgia. You are really made to feel welcome here as if you are a part of the family. The Khinkiladze family are exceptionally friendly, warm, generous hosts. The hostess, Fati, is an excellent cook and will treat you to amazing and copious homecooked meals (the best I've had in Georgia), consisting of many delicious dishes and way more than you can eat. Her husband is a park ranger of 40 years' experience (I found out through google he is actually the subject of a short documentary film, “40 Years Protecting Georgian Wildlife - "Guardian of Machakhela”) and will be able to advise you on the best walking routes in the area. If you’re lucky, you will get a lift in their Jeep too! Unesco-protected Machakhela park itself is stunning, even in bad weather, and perfect for hiking. The last 500 metres or so of road to the guesthouse was bad when I was visiting there (repair works are going on) and my Gotrip driver could not continue, but not to worry, the family will pick you up in their Jeep. Most of the communication went through Google translate, this turned out to work just fine. The room is basic but clean, with everything you need and a bathroom with a strong hot shower just outside. I highly, highly recommend staying here if you are a nature lover and you'd like a taste of the real Georgia, in this case, the real mountain Adjara. I am already planning to return here the next time I am in Georgia.

the owner of villa is a very helpful and smiley person , the view is like a computer background photo :D , bed view is like sleeping in the sky with clouds around you , Jacuzzi with cold and hot water was a bonus of course , there already 2 villas and the third is under construction also a family restaurant will open soon, highly recommended , thanks MR. This is an amazing place! The house is very cozy and atmospheric, it is clear that it was made with love. The courtyard is nice, there is everything you need to relax - a barbecue area, tables, a hammock, a swing (many swings), a pool! If you are looking for a place for a quiet holiday with comfort and magnificent views (mountains, river, starry sky) - here you are! The hostess is responsive and always in touch! This place is so amazing because of her love for her creation!

Initially, I picked this spot due to its cost-effectiveness (it’s 2-3 times more affordable than alternatives) and its convenient location for visiting attractions like Machahela, Mirtveti, Kapnistavi, and Gvara.
However, during my stay, I found several other advantages:
1) There's an in-house restaurant that offers tasty dishes priced 15-20% cheaper than in Batumi. This is a great convenience for when you're out touring all day. If you prefer quieter settings, it's best to check if any events are scheduled during your stay.
2) The hotel administration offers guided tours to all nearby landmarks, which is very handy.
3) The picturesque setting is a delight, with the property nestled between tall mountains and a river.
4) The hotel management is client-oriented and incredibly courteous, which, in my experience, isn't often the case in Georgia. They resolved an issue with a delay in the restaurant during a crowded event to my utmost satisfaction. Moreover, they are a delightful, welcoming group of people, making communication very easy.
5) The hotel's atmosphere is unique and charming. It simultaneously reminds me of The Overlook Hotel and a palace from a traditional Slavic fairytale.
In conclusion, I can definitely recommend this property for its value for money, superb service and enchanting setting.
