The countryside is wonderful , seeing all the sheep and horses in their natural habitat. Being able to walk through the countryside with not too many cars on the road is great. The tranquil settings make it an ideal place to stay
The hotel is like a diamond smuggled within a beautiful view of Dartmoor, very accommodating and very friendly. I also got a free upgrade on my room, which was great! The food is fantastic and the presentation of the food, made it look too good to eat. Cooked fresh and tasted wonderful. Good old fashioned excellent customer service is also offered, which you do not see often enough anymore. I will be staying there again on my next business trip to Derriford hospital
The view from the hotel and our room was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and we felt most welcome with our dogs. The food was delicious, we stayed here for 6 nights and had breakfast and dinner in the hotel's restaurant every day. There were many great sights to see in the area.
Location is fabulous, staff are great , We had breakfast & an evening meal which were good.
Would book again . My only criticism is the hotel is a bit tired but looking on the positive side it could be called quirky!!
