I booked last minute and the train was delayed at Euston and I rang up and notified them that I will not be at the location until after 12 midnight due to delays but was told that last check in is at 10.30 p.m and was just turned down ..So you book a room and then are left stranded in a town that you don't know but luckily I knew a friend and had to cause them inconvenience. I COULD of been in a very dangerous situation this is appalling and top of that you took my money too

The location was perfect for us. The grounds were lovely. The staff were very informative, helpful and a pleasure to speak to. The room met our expectations it had everything we needed. We didn't use the restaurant, bar or spa so cannot comment on those. Our visits to Wolverhampton will be regular so we will return. Plenty of parking spaces.

I know Wolverhampton as a City; it has had some bad times recently but is trying to re-build itself. Excellent Art Gallery / Museum ('Pop Art' a speciality), Theatre and shopping centre. Many old buildings and streets.

Wolverhampton has so much industrial history and is now in a back water, Chubb safes sunbeam world record cars villers engines Goodyear Hobson Boulton Paul Marston Excelsior Guy Motors Clyno Henry Meadows Bigwoods Norton AJS Ever Ready Blast furnaces in Bilston Heavy industry and more bike manufacturers than you could name. Unfortunatley most have now gone and Wolverhampton is a shadow of its former self but a fasinating City I almost forgot the first automatic traffic lights.

The city of Wolverhampton is amazingly only a short and very pleasant, easy 7 mile drive of the inner-ring road, reached through the lovely leafy suburb of Tettenhall. There are numerous museums within a 10 mile radius related to the Black Country. A number of these Museums are 'Living' Museums, depicting life as it was at the time of the Industrial Revolution. Nearby is the RAF Museum at Cosford, and the beautiful village of Much Wenlock which has now been recognised as the birthplace of the Olympic Games model. And all around is the glorious countryside and sights of Shropshire, surely one of the UK's most undervalued counties.

Lots of places to eat.
Lots of places to eat. Good shopping centre within easy walk of hotel. Need to know your way around a roundabout and ring road the traffic system takes a bit of getting used to. Friendly people in stores although some had problems with my Scots accent and my Scots money.
Great breakfast at Gatehouse and its served until Noon so you can have a lie in.
Lovely scones in the M&S cafe in the shopping centre.

Extremely filthy place—surroundings are super filthy
Extremely filthy place—surroundings are super filthy
Owner of property lacks manners, customer service, communication, and super rude. She has no courtesy to speak to us. She has no empathy or sympathy towards humanity!
We had a great room on the first floor which was fully kitted out with a kitchen, utensils, table, chairs, sofa and private bathroom.. We only stayed one night as we had a gig at k.ks steel mill but this was a perfect location and only a 10 min walk to the venue & city centre. The room was spotless, had a good powerful shower and Jay the manager kept us fully informed. We often visit Wolverhampton so would definitely stay here again.
Having stayed here before I knew that the Barons Court was an ideal hotel for my needs. The rooms are well kept and stocked with tea and coffee. Keith the manager was as always friendly and attentive. The breakfast was excellent and served promptly. We booked the hotel as it was five minute drive from the venue . Excellent all round. The old interior complete with suit of armour and memorabilia gives off an excellent vibes.
Convenience and price were just what I needed for a 1 night stay in Wolverhampton. I appreciated the smooth check-in/check-out process. The room was good in terms of size, there's free space for a quick morning stretch, there's a desk if you need a desk for whatever use, window blocked the outside noise nicely when I went to bed, shower water was great.
Plenty of parking, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and an interesting collection of eclectic items make for a hotel with plenty of character. Within a short drive of the centre of Wolverhampton and, although near a relatively busy road, the rooms were quiet.
- Very convenient location. Very close to Wolverhampton city centre and Wulfrun Halls
- Clean, airy room with lovely toiletries. Appreciated the bottled water and biscuits!
- Easy to access keys via keybox. Clear instructions on how to access keys
I visit family twice a year and for convenience stay at this hotel. I have been using this hotel for 22 years. Its not far to walk to the city center and to where my family live.
The location for the city centre was excellent - everywhere was walkable. The hotel was very comfortable, our room was spacious and the choices for breakfast were extensive.
Location was the reason this hotel was booked, even though we didn't have high expectations. The staff were great though especially on arrival. Nice bar facilities
