My Friday evening dinner was delicious, each course being very tasty. On Saturday I was treated to a complimentary morning coffee in the garden, later finding out the gentleman offering it to me was the owner, so I was able to pass on my compliments regarding the evening meal I had enjoyed.

I think this place is very good for exploring Cumbria that most do not see (on the west coast), myself and my sons have travelled the coastline and trust me it is worth it. OK it is not a million miles from the mountain areas (Ennerdale), the road network is really good so if you do not feel like going up on the rock travel the coastline, you will not be disappointed, stormy days are best, it is awesome, beautiful England.
