We enjoyed our stay here. We used it as a base for travelling around the area, which worked well. Friendly, helpful staff and a nice atmosphere in general.

Location mainly as we were obviously there for the park and the staff were quite friendly but nothing too exceptional. Allowed us to the creative workshop as a complimentary gesture

This was my 5th trip to Windsor .
This was my 5th trip to Windsor . Windsor is easy to navigate on foot with good public transport. There are lots of places to have coffee & good restaurants. The shop keepers & staff in the castle are friendly . I would advise using public transport if possible as taxi's are expensive & the drivers not very helpful or friendly and each taxi varies in cost to the same location.
London City is a short bus/ train ride away.
Heathrow airport is easily accessible by bus.
Hampton Court is also easily accessible by bus /train.
The Long walk & Windsor great park are within walking distance of the Castle.
Lego Land is a short bus ride away.
There are supermarkets in the town centre for any essential items.
The Fudge shop is always a hit with all ages.

Windsor is a very beautiful place to visit and we would definitely recommend going when the Windsor Horse Show is on (even if you're not an equestrian). A visit to the castle is a must.
If you stay just outside of Windsor you can find very reasonable priced accommodation. We stayed approximately a 10 min walk away from the centre.
Windsor is also just a 30 min train ride into London too! We did a day in London when we went to Windsor in May 2024

Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago.
Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago. It was so small that we both couldn’t get dressed in the room together! The price we paid, we expected better facilities! Reception was disorganised and the breakfast was chaotic! Didn’t even get a clean table to sit and eat !
Premier Inn is better than this hotel!
No lifts to our rooms nor any help provided to climb two stairs with our luggage!
Not worth the money you paid!
Spacious, immaculate, everything had been thought about and was provided. Big kitchen area with modern appliances and all very clean. Lovely bedrooms. Comfortable. 10 mins walk into town and to castle, to the river or parks. Loved being close to places to eat. We were a family visiting Windsor Castle for an event and this worked out cheaper than separate hotel rooms and much more comfortable for my older parents to relax in. Downstairs loo and bedroom worked for us.
Nice amount of parking, though some a few minutes walk away from hotel. Very friendly and polite staff - Kingsley at reception was very helpful to us throughout our stay, and treated us warmly.
Nice, comfortable rooms with luxury toiletries. Lovely rooms for events/weddings, with ample water dispensers and toilets nearby. Fabulous and beautiful grounds to walk around.
Lovely complimentary breakfast in mornings with great selection of warm and cold foods.
We stayed for one night with breakfast included. The hotel was perfectly situated and so close to Windsor Castle. The hotel was lovely and cosy, nice and warm with brand new renovated bathrooms. Staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was dog friendly and out little dog loved it, they even offered her a snack at breakfast while we were eating. I would recommend this hotel for comfort and ease and getting that all round feel.
Staff in all areas very friendly and polite made us feel very welcome. Hotel perfectally placed for all we wanted to do 2 minutes from castle entrance 5 minutes to Thames and boat cruises. Vast choice of eating places in the area. Very peaceful and quite in bedrooms and well decorated. Breakfast had a large variety of choices. Carpark below hotel very secure bit pricey but well worth it in our opinion. A very enjoyable and restful stay.
Lovely hotel in Windsor, conveniently located to the castle, sites, restaurants. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was modern with a bath & shower. Breakfast was plentiful. Complimentary drinks in the afternoon which we enjoyed in the garden. Parking is available for a small fee. Staff were very helpful, and went out of their way to answer questions and provide recommendations. Recommend staying here on your next visit to Windsor.
I had 12 hours to myself before returning from a week long business trip… decided to venture out to Windsor… so glad I did!! Excellent hotel in the perfect location in Windsor. stroll along the charming streets, down to the river and a stones throw to the castle. Lovely shops, pubs and restaurants abound. perfect place to stay the night before flying out of Heathrow International!
Wanted somewhere to stay in Windsor with a friend and our 5 year olds - didn’t want to be split up in hotel rooms. Flat was perfect for the kids to spend time together and a great location for Legoland and Windsor Castle. Really clean and quiet. Host was very responsive to messages. We had a lovely break.
All staff and service was great, but waiter Benito made me feel more welcome than I have ever felt in any hotel in my life. It really made my stay. The castle is litterally around the corner, and the brasserie offers a beautiful view of the river and the gracious swans. Good wifi everywhere.
Great location, just 2 minutes by walk to Windsor Castle. The room is very big cosy and bright. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom with bath it was phenomenal .Heater is also work very welI if you feel cold. I really loved that hotel.
Cosy Windsor Cottage is a lovely comfortable place to stay. Perfect for local destinations as well as day travel into London and SW England. Gavin, the property owner, was extremely helpful before and during our stay.
Everything. We love that the hotel is right there where the guards march during the changing of the castle guards. The front desk staff, the concierge, the breakfast staff and everyone were very nice.
Excellent location for Windsor and Eton, great local restaurants all within 10 minute walk. The staff were always on hand to help nothing too much trouble. Would recommend this hotel.
Although this was a soft opening and the Hotel was not 100% ready, the staff on hand were super friendly and navigated the challenge of not being ready very well.
