Beautiful property in a quiet village, good parking and great location for visiting Silverstone museum or race circuit. The room was perfect for a short break, a hamper was left outside the room for breakfast. Evening meal was delicious and the staff are very friendly, would definitely recommend and would return if visiting the area.

Fabulous little pub with friendly staff. Rooms above. Very old 16th century building, so quirky rooms! Value for money. Breakfast was continental, croissants, cereals, toast etc. They even got up early so we could have breakfast before we left on an early start.

    Staff ah-mah-zing.

Staff ah-mah-zing. If first time user, total lack of direction. Rowdy groups / golf groups need to observe that it is a SPA/ Quiet space, several groups, of very loud golf people, not acceptable! Facilities slightly lacking. There were no bathrobes available when we accessed the spa, my husband is overweight and very self conscious...a robe would have made all the difference. There is also a huge lack of differentiation between spa facilities, exactly what you are entitled to access!!!! This should be discussed at booking in at reception Cold plates and cold food at breakfast also coffee was of VERY POOR quality. Lots of slamming doors at night, sleep disturbed several times overnight. Lack of air-conditioning, this is a major issue. However the bed and bedding very comfortable but furniture needs updating.

The gym was great and that's about where I have to end with the compliments. Unfortunately we couldn't get any treatments or even a table in the restaurant for an evening meal. The staff were mediocre, we were left waiting far to long for service in the bar and it felt at check-in that we were a hindrance.

Facilities were exceptional, all staff very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was presented well, and Spa/Wellness rooms were very clean and pleasant. Only drawback was refrigerator had to be switched off as too noisy in the night. All in all a very enjoyable weekend away.

Keep website up to date with changes to services and covid restriction like availability of refreshments on site and swimming pool access. Also place souless! Except for friendly and chatty people on main reception. Superb Turkish restaurant in Towcester

The food choices for dinner and breakfast were really good.

The food choices for dinner and breakfast were really good. There was enough choice for my daughter from the children’s menu too. I wanted my daughter to experience staying in a lovely hotel but unfortunately this wasn’t the case as we were put in the paddocks to stay, our room was extremely basic. The view was awful, the toilet made a very loud noise, the tv was disconnected so I had to call for someone to come and sort it out

Try and stay in the main hotel which has original decor and avoid the newer part of the outside block. .the outside block is very disappointing. I was originally booked into the outside block for my daughters 21st birthday and I complained. .I was immediately moved to a beautiful room . The breakfast was tasteless and awful ..this was the biggest let down as we were all looking forward to a lovely breakfast Check in is late 4pm check out is early 10am and £15 extra for every hour after

Loved pool area and Jacuzzis etc. The bedrooms were a little tired. Lack of sockets and fan in bathroom. Lack of hooks to hang up coats and wet towels. So could do with updating. Meal in Astons was great, as was breakfast. Staff lovely. Just rooms a bit disappointing. Bed not that big for hotel.

The waiter on the evening of arrival (Thomas) was very well mannered, incredibly service minded and also very helpful. He's a real asset to the hotel. I must say that the dinner was overall really good as well.
