We have stayed several times now and every time there has been:
- Lovely and helpful staff.
- Amazing food (the breakfast and dinner is so tasty and the menu has some lovely vegan options).
- Very clean and large bathrooms and rooms.
- Beautiful gardens.

Staff on the day of arrival were extremely friendly, helpful and genuinely appreciative. On morning of checkout, felt the member of staff wasn't really so passionate and came across as just doing what was expected of her role. Felt could have asked if stay was okay and/or say hope to look forward to seeing us again.

I came to see the industrial archaeology of Bull Bridge.
I came to see the industrial archaeology of Bull Bridge. It was famous for the Bull Bridge Aqueduct, but there are also the ruins of the Bull Bridge kilns, 5 lime works, the line of the Crich or Frichley tramroad, and an older one adjacent to the kilns, a corn mill, and a malt house.

We stayed here as a mid point between White Peaks Distillery (where we had a tour and tasting session- highly recommended!) and Yassou Greek Kitchen (just the best dinner!)
The local area was very pretty, but also very hilly! A poorly planned walk could cost your calves!

The Willow room was perfect for my needs - comfy bed, desk/dressing table & chair. Sash window a little difficult but managed. Fan provided. Hairdryer provided. The cafe had lovely comfy chairs, tables adequately spaced. Handy location for walkers, shoppers & fun seekers. Car park across the road, off busy A6.

Easy to get to .
Easy to get to . Hotel was easy to find and the food in the restaurant was good. Easy to get round the area with plenty to see and do. Watch out for the many speed cameras. Avoid weekends as parking everywhere was difficult . Enjoyed it so much we are going back.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean.
The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was comfy. But unfortunately the room was too hot and the breakfast was not great. Although we paid separately for the dinner, the food also was not great - quite bland. We had burgers for dinner.
