    We were very disappointed

We were very disappointed The main issue was the amount of noise from the street at night.. With this hotel being Grade II listed the windows are just metal frames and the sound from the street is very loud, there's a music venue just up the street that closes quite late Room was nice, clean but very cold, we had a meal on the night of our arrival but the quality was really poor, I ordered one of the specials and it was a slab of mush done in the microwave. Our server was very apologetic but never offered any alternative or discount. We left early in the morning, exhausted to get home and get some sleep so never tried the breakfast we had paid for

Wellingborough might be nice but this was a depressing area with limited shops and too many fast food outlets. Streets rubbish strewn. Approached twice between car park and hotel by beggars wanting money for alcohol or overnight accommodation.

The owner said I only complained about the filthy room because I wanted to stay until 2pm. This was a lie I was unaware what time I had to vacate and left soon after being told. The studio was very dirty the person upstairs who spoke to me on the owners behalf also agreed it needed cleaning. Photographs show some of the dirt

Stayed at Wellingborough as it was close to Santa Pod (Drag Racing). We got a taxi from local taxi firm Skyline Taxis (Who were excellent!). We had tea at Castello Lounge, which as excellent, we decided that it was that good we went back for breakfast the following day.

For varied shopping ammenties go to near by Rusden Lakes Shopping complex NN10 6FH which has designer outlets, coffee shops, restaurants, Cineworld cinema and pleasant lake side views. Free Parking for 5 hours, suggest early arrival as it can get very crowded.

Easy to navigate to and the town has decent facilities. We were visiting family so spent most of the time with them but we did eat at a local (toward Northampton) Frankie & Benny's which was very good. Things to avoid...............Travelling anywhere in the UK on a Saturday close to Christmas!

Comfortable bed, room 1 was ground floor. Check-in and out were extremely simple. Excellent location to the main roads out of Wellingborough and Wilby. Very close to town, with a village energy. Shower was adequate, if a very large person perhaps would not be so happy. Only one outlet in the room but it didn't bother me. I moved the kettle to make tea, no problem. I will stay again for sure. Thanks so much 👍

The central location made it easy to access the local shops, restaurants etc. The flat was very clean (which was important to us) and it was secured with gated parking and building access code. The building backed onto small park which provided quite a nice view from the windows. I will highly recommend it to anyone who would like a nice relaxing stay in Wellingborough.

Everything about it was perfect for an overnight stay: a good sized room, a beautiful bathroom and shower room, lots of soft loo roll, 2 glasses, soap, luxurious towels..A huge fabulous bed, so comfortable with expensive feeling sheets and duvet. Two chairs and tables, everything clean and working as it should. It was like heaven and so cheap!

Room well appointed, was big enough with a decent bathroom. Very clean. The hotel building is indeed exceptional, a little gem, with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff couldn't have been better, they clearly love being at work in this hotel & made me feel properly welcome. The food & drinks are pub prices, but the quality is so good!

Gail was the hotel manager. She welcomed us very warmly, and provided excellent service. It's a no frills hotel / B&B, but it was exceptionally clean, and the beds in our twin room was comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay. It also has a free car park which was very handy just behind the property.

The rooms were very clean. The hotel location is well located for attending town activities and shopping venues. The dining area, registration, and bar staff were very accommodating and the restaurant food was excellent. I highly recommend The Hind Hotel to people visiting Wellingborough.
