Was close to where we we're attending a concert, room was much better than was expecting from the downstairs, breakfast was lovely. For price we paid would say good value for money

The location was beautiful. Stunning scenery around the property.
Osgodby is gorgeous & very close to the beaches & other seaside attractions.
The room was well-equipped & extremely comfortable.
There was a comfy double bed & an extra single bed too.
The room had everything needed for a comfortable stay
Luke the barman was lovely. He got me my keys & showed me to my room. We couldn't speak easily as there were very loud customers in the bar when I checked in at 7pm.
Luke even apologised for the foul-mouthed regulars who used the F-word in every sentence despite young children being in their party.
Luke got some hot food for me which was delicious. He kindly served it in the quiet, closed bar at the back where I could watch the football whilst eating.
Thank you to Luke.
The landlady was also very nice and friendly when I met her.

We selected the cheapest room as it was an over night stay. The photos made it look bigger than it was . Would recommend paying the extra for one of their other rooms (which we have stayed in and are far better.)
The evening menu was more expensive than the normal pub food but was beautifully cooked and in lovely surroundings either taken in the restaurant or the pub

Both pubs do not open until 4pm at this time of year so had to go elsewhere to find somewhere for lunch. Found a lovely place at Potter Brompton called Sally Middlewood Farm Shop & Tea Room, very good and worth a visit.

Good location for exploring this area of Yorkshire, for Moors and coast. Professional and welcoming owners and staff. The room and public area were fitted out to a very good standard, and pub and food obviously popular with travellers and locals alike. I selected it as a one night stop on my way to a tour of Scotland, but I was happy to book it again on my return trip home 👍
Ideal location for our short trip, visited Flamingo Land before spending the night at the hotel and then visited York the next day. Lots of other places to visit within 20-30 mins. Breakfast was wonderful and hot tub a welcome relaxation after a day at the theme park.
The property was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It is an old hotel and it is quite quaint. The decor is a little dated but maybe that is part of it’s charm. The breakfast which was included in the price was very nice.
The restuarant was excellent, evening meal and breakfast were great. The small village is quite isolated but very peaceful. The Hotel team were lovely to talk to and very helpful.
Karl and Julia were very welcoming and great hosts. The hotel was very dog friendly, the room was very good, the bed very comfortable and overall very relaxing.
Very comfy beds, great wet room. Impressed with the little personal touches such as chocolates, sweets, tissues, face cloths, definately recommend this hotel
