It was quite an independent hotel - we didn’t see any members of staff but knew how to contact someone if we had a problem. We liked the fridge in the room.

    Food excellent.

Food excellent. Fresh good-quality home-baked cakes placed in room each day. The Lemon Drizzle Cake is the best I've ever tasted. Staff couldn't have been more friendly. There wasn't really anywhere convenient in the bathroom for placing toiletries. A shelf located near the wash basin would have been nice.
