Power cut on arrival but the staff were brilliant, welcoming and friendly. Shown to our room, very bright,spacious, colourful, lovely.

The location is perfect for a rural break with easy access to footpaths and the local countryside. We took stroll to the pub at Top Brink Inn, first pub outing since this lockdown. Easy 20 minutes walk, decent pub food except for the vegan chillie option. Easy to walk to Todmorden from there but as we walked so much the day before we took a £5 taxi back.
