Just used this hotel as a stopover on our way through Manchester. Was just outside of Manchester so handy location, as every hotel in Manchester just seems to charge an arm and a leg. This place was reasonable but to be honest needs a little bit of TLC.
The bathroom and room was a good size, comfortable bed & working TV plus heating. But just felt the rooms needed a lick of paint & the bathroom to be fair.
For the price I couldn’t complain, it was reasonable and somewhere to stay but wasn’t anything too spectacular.
Free parking was a plus. And staff were super friendly!

The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Allowed us to get the room key early as we were going to a wedding and even provided a taxi number prior to our visit. We were able to add breakfast on after the booking, which was delicious!

We liked the quaint little village surrounding the hotel itself (which is part of the hotel/spa), the room we booked was the cottage and it was hidden away so we had more privacy than expected and we had our own terrace garden.
Although we didn't use the spa facilities, the thermal pool looked inviting. The side of the pool is exposed (shutters roll up) so you feel like you're in an outdoor pool. Will definitely use the pool next time.
On arrival to our room, we received complimentary spa-like toiletries (smelled amazing) and chocolates as we were there for our anniversary. One of the reasons we booked here was because they were dog friendly as we wanted to take our dog with us. They provided a dog bed and water bowl which was a nice touch.

Because of Covid 19 unable to use restraunt. Breakfast brought up to your room. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again. As we were visiting family we didn't eat locally, bit there are places local, or you can go into Bury ot Central Manchester.
Good parking, nice clean modern looking hotel with friendly staff from reception to restuarant Unfourtunately I missed breakfast I overslep so cant comment but if it was good as evening meal i'm sure it was good. rooms were well appointed clean and with good amenties.
Fab location to commute to where we was going. Lovely hotel, booked a small room and that’s what it was but had everything we needed even the iron and hair dryer come in handy.
