Small room but very cosy with tea/coffee making facilities every day and bottled water always available. Room tidied and fresh towels every day which since COVID is not always present in mid range hotels. Breakfast included and was top quality 👍. A bar on site for an evening drink. Staff were exceptional.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed and bedding although so much of the duvet was tucked in so securely at the bottom of the bed, we had to move down the bed to get a cover. We could have dragged the bedding out of the base I suppose
Bathroom- clean and nice towels. Nice shower although, our friends had shower Soap and other toiletries which we didn’t have 🤷♀️
The Boleyn Hotel, under new ownership/management is a charming 3 star listed hotel opposite the River Thames dating back to the 16th century.

I stayed here with my 11-year-old son for 2 nights to visit Thorpe Park and Windsor
This is such a pleasant area to stay. Very friendly, clean, and quiet. The hotel has exceptionally safe parking at the back, which is securely locked at night.
Upon arrival, we were greeted and given direction to our room. We were advised that during our stay, there would be a function and that if we were disturbed, they would be happy to support. - we weren't disturbed. Our room had been thought about in advance, for which I am grateful.
Our evening meal was had at the Indian Restaurant that is part of the hotel. This area also serves breakfast.
The hotel is around 10 minutes' walk to the bus and train station. Here you can catch the train straight in to London, or like we did, use the direct bus to Thopre Park.
Choosing here will base you safely for a pleasant stay in Staines or for access to London and Windsor.
I would choose to stay here again when back in the area

Lovely large park and lake areas good for walking among trees and ducks etc. Some good restaurants nearby, but scattered so a car is needed rather than walk. Go a bit further past the Rose & Crown pub to the village of Thorpe and check out the Red Lion pub, nice village pub atmosphere and great food.

Excellent accommodation, very spacious . Very helpful owner, we only stayed overnight but will certainly return if we require to stay in this area. Excellent breakfast included. VG value - would recommend
Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice and always served with a smile. This is my second stay at the Savannah B&B and will definitely stay again when in the area. Helen and David are around to help whenever needed and we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the garden after a busy few days out and about. There are shops and places to eat nearby and attractions like Windsor, Kew Gardens, RHS Wisley and Savill Garden near Virginia Water are in easy reach. Parking is a must and there was ample parking on the drive or on the road outside.
Wonderful hosts and lovely, comfortable rooms. We were able to learn about the history of the area, visited the fantast local pub (30min walk). Very grateful to have been dropped off by the Virginia Water lake! A must visit when staying near the area. The icing for me was the very personal touches, particularly with the dairy free, gluten free pancakes for breakfast. Thank you so much for accommodating a group of girls visiting for a wedding. We had a fantastic time staying with you before and after!
Fantastic staff, really helpful, friendly and polite. The bar was lovely, well decorated, quiet and cosy.

Helen and Dave were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was catered well for dogs, with a large garden area for them to play in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade bread and lots of choice! A very convenient location situated near Virginia water.

Great location period pub/ Hotel / staff were polite and helpful in particular Dorian who went the extra mile nothing was to much trouble for him , would go back again.
We wanted to be close to Windsor Great Park so location was perfect. Good breakfast, very reasonably priced. Helpful staff. Ample free parking. Clean and comfortable.
