Quirky and comfortable, plus well sized rooms. The restaurant was too pretty and convenient to walk past - we had breakfast and a couple of lunches there. Great neighbourhood for cafes and shopping, with leafy streets to walk in if you want to avoid the Portobello Road hubbub.
On the quayside in the traditional fishing village of St Mawes, the The Idle Rocks boasts excellent sea views and fresh seafood. It offers modern rooms and free Wi-Fi.

This hotel is in a beautiful place, overlooking the sea and a short walk from the coastal footpath. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed (in fact rather more cushions than required!) Quite often hotels are let down by the details, but I'm happy to say that the bath towels were really large and there was a proper hair dryer not one of those horrible fixed to the wall things. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Location is perfect. Right on the edge of the harbour with views to die for.
Great food and the opportunity to eat breakfast or have pre dinner drinks on the balcony. Manager is great, really helpful.

Breakfast was OK
Our evening meal was very good for two of the three nights; and one of our three nights at this hotel on our own volition we ate out at the local chippies !

We had a very pleasant couple of nights. The accommodation is very bright and comfortable, pretty garden, tasty breakfasts, parking on site, and only short walk into St Mawes.
Veryan is a secluded, quiet Cornish village. Opposite our Guest House was a typical traditional pub serving excellent food and ales. We ate there each evening during our stay at the Elerkey (B&B) Guest House. The village location is ideal for visiting the Eden Project. During our brief stay we visited St Mawes and Falmouth taking the ferry. We also visited St Ives and Gwithian with it's superb beach. Each of these locations was easy to visit from Veryan.

Quiet, peaceful nice local pub 2 doors down, across the road a place to buy coffee, ice creams, cream teas.
You may have to book up for eating in the pub, gets quite busy for food, next nearest pub was kings head about 4 miles in the next village, food was very good.
We could not have stayed anywhere better than this guest house. A wonderful family who made us feel so welcome. The guest house is situated in the delightful vilage of Veryan with the typical village pub opposite the guest house. It was in the pub that we had our eveing meals, which were superb. We would have no hesitation recommending the Elerkey Guest House and look to forward to another visit in the future.
Elerkey guest house is located in a quiet spot in the centre of Veryan opposite a public house which serves meals. There is a good size car park on site. We had room 1 which was quite small, clean but very dated. The large full english breakfast was cooked and presented very well. The staff were very polite and friendly.
Elerkey House is situated in the middle of Veryan, literally a few steps from the pub and the village shop, making it an ideal location. Anne was very welcoming and the rooms were spotless. There were a good range of gluten free options for breakfast, as well as some snacks in the room.
the breakfast was very good, the hostess was attentive, thoughtful and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom too and attention to detail was carefully though out . Veryan is a lovely village and many attractions on the door step. we enjoyed our stay at Elerkey guest house.
A comfortable week away in a lovely cottage, nicely presented and lots of good living space. Very cosy with the heat pump. Veryan is a pretty and quiet village with good access to lots of coast. Lots of good dog walks nearby too.
