The room was small but well decorated, the view made up for this as the sea was just across the road.
The location was also good being on the front,cant say about parking as I arrived by train/bus.
Breakfast was good, I had the full English on both mornings,big helpings plus buffet.

The food was very good. We were on a bed and breakfast tariff. We ate a la carte for two evenings. The service was very good and the staff very friendly. The concierge was very helpful when we left, bringing our car around to the front of the hotel so we could load our luggage.

Location was superb, away from any noisy traffic and set in huge beautiful gardens. About 5 miles from Sidmouth, a lovely small seaside town, definitely worth visiting.
The owners were wonderful, friendly and helpful in every way we could have wanted and looked after us brilliantly.
Terrific breakfasts.
The owners also had two lovely friendly black Labrador dogs who greeted us often when we parked our car.

Breakfast was not up to the standard I am used to bacon was hard as it was kept warm , my wife had poached eggs nicely done but had a vinaigrette tast which she couldn’t eat. Not the best breakfast I have had

Staying at Bowhayes Farm was the best decision for our bank holiday weekend. We felt immensely looked after by the host Howard, had plenty of wood for our fires and received some great recommendations for walks and places to eat. The pitch, surrounded by an apple tree orchard, was so tranquil, the bathroom was immaculate and there even was a shower with multiple shower heads! This was without doubt the best Devon getaway we’ve ever had, and much of this was due to the genuine interest, warmth and care from the owners of the farm. Thank you for our lovely stay, we will definitely be back.
