Very good room size - plenty of space to spread out, I don't like feeling squashed into small spaces.
Comfortable bed - really comfortable for me because it was the firmness I like but not too hard.

We found a slice of perfection! Immaculate and beautifully presented barn accommodation. Absolutely stunning property which has been sympathetically renovated to an exceptional standard. Every aspect of the property has been well thought out and is very well equipped. We had a really lovely stay at Orchard Barn and will definitely return. From the start of the weekend it was stress free and relaxing with stunning views from the property that immediately make you slow down and enjoy the surroundings. Nick and Alex were so welcoming and friendly. We had an amazing time. They were very generous with their time help guide us as to what to visit. Would highly recommend exploring Major Oak in Sherwood forest, the Chatsworth House (can easily spend the entire day exploring), and Hardwick Hall. Do take the tours as the volunteers and the tour guides are absolutely amazing and full of the history and juicy stories about the Dukes that owned/lived there. Had a tasty dinner at the New Chand (indian restaurant).
