Took a chance on this one as the listing seemed a little unclear. Glad we did. Great place - we booked a family room which had two rooms plus bathroom over two floors. Staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is excellent with rooms situated around an internal courtyard leading to a large suntrap of a terrace overlooking the gardens and beyond. Breakfast was a simple 'continental' but of high quality and very well done. Dog friendly (very), spotless, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms. Interesting shop and gallery in the main building, plentiful parking.

The Inn is comfortable, clean and a traditional inn.
Pleasant and helpful staff, I thought a little pricey for offer but convenient for my visit. The breakfast was very good and well presented, and included in price. I enjoyed my stay little touches like fresh milk in room was very welcome. If I visit Glynebourne again I would definitely use again.

Owner was on his day off when I checked in at 10:00 pm which was an hour late for checking in for the evening.
He showed us to our room which was spotless and was very helpful and cheerful.
Unfortunately in the morning there was no hot water.
We both had slept well in very comfortable beds and the place was nice and quiet.

Lovely, clean and comfortable stay. Extra touches such as hamper with snacks and hot beverages, gratefully received. Own seperate shower room and toilet, which was lovely and clean. Didn't get time to use the fire pit and sit outside but would've liked to.

We stayed at Trading Boundaries in a family room as an alternative to two rooms at the Griffin in Fletching where we had booked dinner. We walked there from Trading Boundaries via Sheffield Forest and then back after dinner. The Griffin is a truly excellent pub with fantastic views coupled with top quality food. It's a 40 minute walk from Trading Boundaries by the shortest route, but if you allow a little longer you can enjoy the plentiful footpaths around the area. Sheffield Park is a few hundred yards to the south if that's your thing.

Spacious rooms with great facilities and friendly staff.
Spacious rooms with great facilities and friendly staff. The afternoon tea and breakfast was great. As we had a child with us, we could only use the pool and spa at certain times and as a result this became quite busy at times, and we weren't able to use the Jacuzzi and Sauna to the fullest.

The Golf course was scenic it did not matter we are not golfers we thought the area was pretty and quiet which was what we were looking for.We had our meals at the Hotel the food was lovely and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
We go here alot and the people on desk before were friendly but that being said shane (the receptionist) was absolutely brilliant he gave us a warm welcome! Would recommend the hotel just for him! The rooms are great size and the ground are beautiful to walk around in,the pool is lovely all clean, food was nice to but abit expensive overall great stay
I could not fault this hotel! The building is wonderful, immaculate inside and out! Our superior room was very large and inviting, the staff friendly and respectful, bed was a super king and very comfortable and the food was beautifully presented and very delicious, we both enjoyed our anniversary celebration and so glad we chose this hotel.
stunning in every way. arrived completely exhausted and felt like I’d arrived into a movie. hotel is beautiful, room outstanding but the very best was the service. amazing. kind. attentive. superb. I am not exaggerating when I say that my stay was probably the best I’ve ever had in this country. thank you all so much.
The staff and owner were so friendly and made us feel at home. The interior of the hotel was made up of beautiful Indian furniture. The room was beautiful and immaculate. Bathroom was beautiful too. The grounds were so peaceful and vast. We had a very relaxing stay. We did not want to leave. Will definitely return.
Lovely fresh breakfast in beautiful surroundings, and there was so much of it. The scrambled eggs were the best I've had in any hotel. Staff were amazing, really helpful and polite. The receptionist went out of her way to be helpful. The real bonus was having very quiet air con!
Horsted Place is a wedding factory. This is not a venue for vacationers. The whole operation is focused on weddings. Food is marginal. Service personnel try, but are not properly trained. The most absurd feature was staff wearing ill-fitting white gloves, to serve meals.
What a beautiful manor. The grounds were stunning. It was such an easy drive into Lewes where we were shopping. And ABOVE ALL, the hotel staff were so attentive and darling. You were our very first stay on our very first international trip. And we’ll never forget you.
Lovely hotel, rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
A group of us met up to celebrate my friends 50th birthday and we will definitely return.
The pool and spa were wonderful, clean and relaxing. All in all a great stay.
Interesting place, not a hotel as such- the accommodation is more of a side-line to the owners' other businesses. (The set-up is a shop, art gallery, café, music and wedding venue.)
Warmly welcomed, the courtyard room was spacious and comfortable. And quiet.
The studio was absolutely lovely, very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated .
Very peaceful too , with the added bonus of a swimming pool
The hosts were friendly and went out of their way to make me feel at home
The bed was so comfortable !
I love the airy, spacious hotel and its rural setting. The staff were lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. We had room service. The spa is very relaxing and the whole place was calm, peaceful and very restful.
Good to have teabags, coffee and milk - thank you. Key safe worked well but the key did need a fair bit of wiggling in the lock! Comfortable space and big TV. Good cafes up the High Street - Cafe 212 and Harpfields.
The staff were helpful and friendly, The hotel itself is a beautiful building and the gardens are magnificent. It was lovely that the hotel remembered my friends birthday and left a card and chocolates in our room
Great facilities, very clean, comfortable beds and very quiet even tho there was a wedding and events on. Spa, pool and leisure facilities were excellent and not overly busy even tho hotel was quite full.
Nearly perfect stay, Clean, very spacious in all areas, great facilities, Bar meals were superb, breakfast was perfect, will stay again, but next time will not pay the extra for a balcony room.
