The location was perfect for walking the West highland way.
The bed was very comfortable and staff went above and beyond to make sure we were in and settled as we arrived realy late in the evening
They even made us a takeout breakfast at the last minute to allow us to get on our way early the next day

Great location in the crossroads of main roads, specially on our Way to Highlands. Amazing hosts who took care of us so lovely. Thank’s for everything, Tam and Carmen.

Best Western Crianlarich Hotel is about an hour from Glasgow Airport and amid magnificent Highland scenery. Its fine-dining restaurant has an AA Rosette and opens 7 nights a week.
I have stayed only one night. It´s a cosy place in the middle of beautiful nature, perfect spot to start a day-long track. I loved the size of the village, location and the little stream. Right on the west highland way and accessible by train as well. There was a shop, and a variety of accomodation possibilities.

Tyndrum has good facilities for the tourist and traveller, with a choice of good eating places and two shops. The location is perfect because you can get in any direction by car, train or bus - this is almost unique in the Highlands and makes it ideal for walkers, sightseers and anyone who enjoys the countryside.

Tyndrum is a lovely village with hotels, cafes, a few shops & fuel pumps. The Green Welly shop cafe is worth a visit for local fare like Cullen skink & clootie dumpling. The surrounding area is beautiful and Glen Orchy is worth a visit, its 6 miles from Tyndrum on the Fort William road.
The Ben Muthu Hotel is an excellent base for touring.

Tyndrum has one pub, a few hotels, petrol station, a few places to eat and a shop. It is just a pit stop for you or to crash after a hike. Restaurant was nice and friendly, but you'd get bored if you stay there longer than two days. BUT....if you are going for a hike or two then it is lovely. People are really nice.
