The location was very convenient for an overnight stay on our way up to the Isles.
Our hosts were lovely and looked after us very well. They gave us tips for local walks from the house and local eateries. The village pub was a 2 minute walk away and served good homemade food.
Our room was extremely comfortable with a modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and they catered for all our dietary needs.
We would definitely stay again.
The family-run Inverardran House has an elevated position with views across the mountains and is located a short walk from the village of Crianlarich. Wi-Fi is free.

The farm is located ~ 0.5 km from the road and is easy to find. It's very quiet there. The house also has a living room on the first floor with comfy sofas. There is plenty of room to park a car just near the entrance to the building. Shona
(the host) is charming, and helpful, and offers a great and tasty breakfast.

The location was good for us as we were travelling and wanted to stay away from the larger towns, a nice outlook, and the room was large and comfortable. The hotel was nice enough and the staff were good, but it was a bit tired and in need of an upgrade.

The glamping huts had their own bathrooms, comfortable beds and were spaced out well.
I also was late to check in, however the staff left the keys for me at reception.

The village is small with one shop. The local pub serves good food. The problem I encountered was to do with the misleading mileage on the West Highland Way from Rowardennan. It was actually 22 miles and over half of it over very rocky/muddy paths alongside Loch Lomond. Getting to and staying at Crianlarich was a nice relief

Crianlarich is the village at the gateway to the Highlands proper, as you travel up the A82. Station, post office, pub, hotel, village shop all good (no cafe at the moment, it was on the station platform but closed in August 2023). Only a few spots (e.g. the railway station) have a 4G signal. Several accommodation options including the upmarket Hotel. Food at the hotel, or at the Rod & Reel, or 10 min up the road in Tyndrum.

This is a great location for walkers and climbers.
This is a great location for walkers and climbers. There are a few munro in area and Ben Nevis is close by if you are interested, personally I have tried Ben More in the past but it's quite a dangerous climb if the weather closes in.
The cabin was lovely, it was built in front of some pine trees and it felt like being out in the wilderness when it was quiet. The village of Crianlarich is a 10 minute walk, there is a pub a shop and a hotel there with a public bar.
I arrived with a lot of luggage and when my check out day arrived, the chap who runs the place kindly gave me a lift to the hotel for the next part of my journey.
The accomodation will be fantastic in the warmer weather, and I believe that there are BBQ facilities available.
Our host Shona went above and beyond. We were very late because of a road closure...she kept in touch with information and was waiting for us at the end of a very stressful journey. Covid care was evident and well- organised, without encroaching on our enjoyment.Everything was wonderful for us and we completely endorse the other positive reviews.
The communal areas were large and well equipped. A nice place to eat, and relax. The staff gave a warm welcome and were very helpful. Lovely location too. It was a nice touch to have usb charging points in the bedroom too. The shop down the road had ample supplies for food for dinner, and the bar in the best western hotel was nice for a drink.
Good dinner in evening in atmospheric wood panelled dining room. Several other quiet lounges (mind you, we were out of season). Very good breakfast, with table service (not a buffet cart). Hotel has a distinct Scottish atmosphere, unlike many identikit motels in this price bracket. We would happily stay here again.
Breakfast was good!
We were booked to be in Glenbruar House and when when checked in we found out we were going to be in the Main Hotel so questions were answered for staying in the hotel itself. We would definitely consider staying here again when we are next in Scptland. Thanks.
They actually had a medical thing come up, so booked us next door. We showed up, they apologized profusely, but it was all the same to us! Both places are cute homes in Crianlarich, just off the WHW and an easy walk to dinner. Everyone at both houses was quite lovely!
Veronica and Colin clearly take pride in providing their guests with exceptional food and accommodations. The quality of their facility was incomparable thus far on the way. We have stayed in many lovely places, but theirs is full of loving touches.
Pretty much what you expect from a BW. Nothing fancy or extraordinary, but generally solid.
The restaurant on site was quite good. Our waiter Andrei was great, very friendly and attentive. The haggis, neppis, and tatties were tasty.
Stunning location, just outside Crianlarich. Clean, warm and comfortable with a friendly host. You can watch red squirrels from the breakfast table. We booked the 2 bedroom suite, which was excellent and just right for us.
Very comfy and cosy bedroom. Option to use a bath if preferred to the shower en-suite. Wonderful breakfast included with lots of choice. Owners friendly and gave lots of information about surrounding area and restaurants.
I am writing this post a few months late, apologies. I haven't written many reviews before but John (our host) was so thoughtful and kind during our stay it was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, John!
The questions above were answered based on being moved into a superior room in the hotel.
It was really good that there was a vegan breakfast option available.
very friendly hosts who had great local knowledge. the property is really close to restaurants and the shop which was perfect after a long day walking.
