The location is good - only a 15 minute walk to the town and quay side. All along the esplanade.
The staff are excellent - helpful and friendly
The food is good - freshly cooked. Breakfast very good. Dinner is fine but lacks refinement. Tables do not have tablecloths (as shown in the hotel photos), but the food is freshly cooked.
Parking is on site - tends to fill up by 6pm.

In the centre of Fareham with easy access to the M27 motorway, this 18th-century coaching inn offers spacious, classic rooms with private bathrooms. Its bar features real ales and leather sofas.
In the heart of Fareham, Lysses House is an elegant Georgian hotel on the High Street, a short walk from the town centre and easily accessible from the M27.
Lovely little village. I imagine many of the buildings must be listed and must take considerable effort to keep looking their best. BIg church in the heart of the village with many graves of interest. Apparently there is a theatre nearby but I didn't get around to visiting this. I found two other pubs in the village, all of which were reasonably busy which was nice to see.

Property is fine with all facilities available and easily accessible.
It is as described and everything is in excellent condition.
Please be mindful of additional fees which are not refundable - a £200 cleaning fee for a 2 night stay is rather exorbitant!

What a beautiful village. So much history.
What a beautiful village. So much history. Take a walk along the the old canal walk to Meon Point.Beautiful countryside. I've seen snakes all over the world, but my first time seeing one in this country. A little less than a metre long grass snake, happily swimming. A real cherry on the cake!
