What a wonderful place to stay. Room was large and bed comfy , staff cant do enough for you spa is free to use and no need to book, pool was great also able to get a drink brought to you whilst in the spa a really nice touch. Food in the Hotel was beautiful and reasonable for a 5 star hotel , breakfast expensive at £35 per person not worth it. Food in the on site bar/restaurant was also very good and not expensive given the location. Grounds fantastic we walked over 6 miles through them all it was amazing

Great location for a break from mWay, super friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable. Even sorted me a packed lunch because I was leaving too early for breakfst; fantastic service. If I was going that way again, I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again. Strongly recommended.

Idyllic location, great sized rooms and really spacious bathroom too. No problem parking and easy to get to from the A1.
The staff were superb, fantastically friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed a superb sleep in a huge bed and quiet room.
Breakfast was equally delightful and I was able to have a really nice conversation with staff.
100% will stay again if the need arises. I left the property feeling really happy and set for the day.

Loved everything about the place. Our room was the small room but was lovely and cosy. Lovely en suite. Breakfast was great and served with a smile. A very quirky and friendly country pub. Even got to listen to a local jazz band performing. The manager is very welcoming and obliging and deserves to do well. Thanks for a great overnight stay. We look forward to returning next time we're in the area.
