I love this hotel, we try to book the room with bath and shower.
The bed is so comfortable, and the room is peace.
Didn't manage to have an evening meal this stay but had a great breakfast.

This hotel is so lovely we stay here every year. Its so close to the arena and shops. There's also lots of places to walk or have a run or take the kids to the park or trampolining.

Very busy little city. Lots of traffic. You will need a map to get around to places of interest. The birthplace of industry for sure. Ironbridge, Coalport,
Broseley, Buildwas Abbey Maws tile works. Much Wenlock for your Steak and red wine family pies from the local butchers. Best in the country.
The whole area was heavily mined for coal, iron ore and clay over the last
two two hundred years and some new houses have to be built on concrete rafts. I lived here in the fifties and early sixties but I wouldn't come back. Still worth a visit to the Blist Hill village between Madeley and Coalport .

We didn't see much of Telford as we were attending a UW conference. What we did notice driving around Telford to get where we were going was how clean it was. We will definitely be coming back to visit Telford itself later in the year.

Would thoroughy recommend the liquor room for cocktails and miller and carter for evening meal. Don’t stay at Mercure Telford City hotel though ….. have done so twice now with bad experience both times.

We came to attend an angling championship. The weather was exceptionally wet. Roads were closed and Ironbridge was flooded. We attended the competition and went home as soon as we could. We did revisit the Grazing Cow restaurant for our second evening meal. The food was good and a good atmosphere.

Birthplace of the industrial revolution, there are plenty of historical ruins and artifacts to see. Ironbridge is amazing considering when it was built. Multi museum pass is best value if you are staying for a couple of days. There are plenty of small villages to explore but be prepared for the narrow farm tracks if venturing off the main A roads.
Taxi’s are available in and around Telford but if you are travelling to a rural location such as Neenton (the Pheasant) you will need to contact a taxi firm such as 1st Choice Taxi’s in advance to make a firm booking. Uber services don’t Appear to be available once you are a few miles from Telford itself and mobile data is not always available.
Everyone from reception, restaurant, Bar and other staff they were all polite very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The meals were good and well presented in a very good clean large restaurant.
The hotel is well placed for Telford shopping centre and for the Iron bridge gorge and also for RAF Cosford Air Museum which free to enter.
The hotel even did a early breakfast on the Sunday morning for anybody attending the Cosford Airshow.
On arrival and through my couple of nights staying whilst working in the area, I found the staff to be really friendly and professional. The room was warm, clean and comfortable with a good shower. The bar and restaurant were both fine for my limited use of them with a good buffet breakfast with a good choice of items. Plenty of parking and close to the retail centre of Telford.
Plenty of drawer and plug space and iron, kettle etc in room
The hotel is showing its age but our room was large, clean and comfortable. The town of Shifnal was within easy walking distance but the hotel area was very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the reviews I read were a bit negative but I would suggest that if you want something with a bit of character I would book here; if you want something soulless stick to Premier Inn
The rooms were amazing, very spacious, clean and homey - absolutely faultless.
Location is fine, it’s in a rather secluded areas, about 20 minutes car journey to Telford city centre.
The whole building itself is stunning, the decor is beautiful and the gardens are lovely and peaceful.
staff were excellent, so polite, friendly and very helpful.
Really friendly welcome, large and very clean room. Location is great for Telford, Ironbridge and RAF Cosford air museum. The staff work very hard and are very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, large and with nice quality ingredients. Great value for money. Plenty of free parking.
We usually stay at the Ramada hotel just over the road, but glad we didn't on this occasion, it was excellent and guaranteed to be open at Christmas so no need to go to another hotel due to low occupancy, really enjoyed the gym, room very comfortable, just the shower a let down
Nearly everything, particularly the staff. Lots to do in the local area, lots of other places to eat. Central location, near to local shopping centre, great transport links. Cleaning, bar, restaurant and particularly reception staff are great.
Good location for visiting the area. Good parking availability in the car park opposite. Nearby shops.
Relatively quiet area. Fully equipped for a weekend break and longer! Short 10 min drive away from Telford's main town center.
Modern hotel and facilities... great location, great parking facility and restaurant on site, used as central to my business meetings in and around Telford area, very safe, very comfortable and great value for money
We went to visit Telford and found the International Hotel was just around the corner from the shopping centre and the hotel was great value for money.
