Good budget hotel ,located overlooking high cross square , within walking distance of the Cathedral and Richard 3rd centre. Within 5 metres of a Wetherspoon pub for a great breakfast at cheap prices and good beer. Room was very clean plenty of hot water in shower.

A reasonable price, very clean, friendly staff, great location. Staff were friendly and welcoming, let me have additional cups of tea outside breakfast and were always on the desk which made things feel very safe. The wifi worked fine, the water pressure and temperature of the showers were good. Towels and soap available upon check in (and I think request but not sure).

A modern hotel with very good, contemporary interior design. Rooms were spacious with all modern construction and a quirky feel that you’d expect from a much more ‘high-end’ hotel. Friendly reception staff and a nice, large bar. A 5 to 10 minute walk from the city centre.

A great little area, had a community feel and the people we met were really friendly. Great bars, restaurants, shops etc. Easy to get to other parts of Leicestershire and it is very central to fabulous attractions. Close to Leicester City and yet quiet place to stay to get out of the noise. Perfect location.

Great place for someone / couple to set up a mid to long term base working away.
Self contained so able to mix eat in / out with great local facilities.
Warm and cosy once heating issue sorted.
Mangal - for good Turkish food although it was cold upstairs - especially frustrating as we had gone out to warm up whilst the flat did too! Had space upstairs
Tajal Palace - fantastic indian at great prices - busy but fitted us [unbooked] in on Saturday night with a short wait.
Little Brook Cafe - 3mins walk for a greta breakfast - excellent Bacon & Sausages - but all good!
15 mins walk from Syston Rail Station
Good sized Costa nearby.
Fox and hounds looked nice but packed so didnt venture in.......

The area was lovely, loads of walking routes, well maintained parks and children's play area. Excellent variety of food places, Greggs, Subway, Costa, chip shops, Chinese takeaway and Indian restaurants. Tesco, Wilkinsons and Aldi stores for all suppliea too.
