It was quite an independent hotel - we didn’t see any members of staff but knew how to contact someone if we had a problem. We liked the fridge in the room.

The property was not in Swinhoe but on road to High Newton.

The property was not in Swinhoe but on road to High Newton. Living areas good but only bedside cabinets for storage in one bedroom. Kitchen was cramped and shower, toilet room area very cramped. This area would not normally have been passed as satisfactory by a building inspector as it had only a single sliding door and not two doors between a toilet and kitchen, which is the normal requirement. The village itself seemed only to comprise of a few houses and assumed to be for agricultural workers or holiday lets.
