The Yeo Dale Hotel, a charming family-owned establishment situated in the heart of Barnstaple, Devon, offers a cosy and traditional atmosphere within a townhouse setting. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, setting the tone for a pleasant stay.
The single room I reserved was located on the top floor of the hotel, providing a compact yet comfortable space with a cosy bed for a good night's rest. While the car park is on the smaller side, I was able to find a spot. However, clearer signposting to the car park would enhance the overall guest experience and make parking more convenient.
Guests can enjoy a delicious and freshly cooked breakfast at the hotel, setting a positive start to the day. Overall, my experience at the Yeo Dale Hotel was enjoyable, and I would not hesitate to book a stay here again when visiting Barnstaple.

Lovely peaceful location, we were visiting family in the area so was only staying one night, the accomodation was very nice, exceptionally clean and very modern. Staff were really lovely, so friendly. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening as we were visiting family but had breakfast the next morning - excellent!!

Room was great and quirky to say the least but very nice, bathroom was ok but not on the same level as the room itself.
Food was great and breakfast was plentiful.
Set in 3 acres of beautiful grounds, Cedars Inn features a conservatory restaurant and free parking. The inn is situated just outside Barnstable, a 20-minute drive from Exmoor National Park.

The hotel was in a lovely location and as it is part of the pub made food options on an evening so much easier, the rooms are exactly as pictured. Very comfortable and clean and the staff were all very friendly especially Kelly who sorted out an issue with the room so effortlessly. Would definitely stay again.

Such a lovely find, truly a hidden gem. Perfect in every way. The hosts are very lovely and attentive. The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean with a wonderful view. We went for a walk around the village and across the fields, it was peaceful and beautiful. It's a tiny village and I think its only easy to get to by car but worth it.
