The location was excellent for visiting Surrey and because it’s situated in private grounds was very peaceful and quiet. The staff were outstanding - friend and efficient. They couldn’t do enough to make it a good stay. Food and service in the bar also good.

THere are quite a few nice places to drink and eat, lovely by the river but remember mosquito spray! Parking can be tricky in certain areas but you will eventually find somewhere without double yellow lines, unless yoru hotel comes with parking!
The hotel state on their website that there is free parking. This is untrue. The free parking is roadside anywhere up the street. Being a female and pensioner, arriving in the dark there was no where to park. I drove around several streets. Eventually I parked on double yellow lines and asked at the hotel in case I had missed the parking area and the response was that guests need to park in the street. I told them that I would be unable to stay due to safety and the response back was extremely unsupportive.
Fantastic location on Thames Street, Sunbury on Thames, just 2 minutes walk from the River Thames. Quiet location - a village-like feeling, with a choice of facilities nearby. Good bar area with outside seating, although the tables are adjacent to the main road. The marvelous Sunbury Memorial Gardens 5 minutes away. Good breakfast included in the price.
Friendly staff, free Wifi and great breakfast options. The room had everything I needed, and I appreciated the tea/coffee making option with biscuits. Dining area was very clean and also a wide menu. Located so close to the Thames and nice area to walk in. I enjoyed visiting the The Sunbury Gallery. It's possible to get to Hampton Court by bus.
This small hotel was a wonderful discovery. I traveled alone for work and found this little hotel to be clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with different warm and cold options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also had dinner at the pub of the hotel, everything was delicious.
The staff was so helpful and friendly. They gave us great recommendations for getting into London for a day and how best to get to the airport. Having a pub right there made it easy for meal time and the food was really good. Having a fan in the room was a plus.
The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming from the off, and we were delighted with both our rooms and the service, options, and food in the restaurant. The cooked breakfast options were imaginative.
so pleased with our stay at the Flower Pit Hotel, really lovely building, fantastic room (bath in the main room!) and really spacious. food was great and the staff were really accommodating.
The location of the hotel was ideal for what we wanted, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we loved the breakfast! Bed was really comfy and lovely touch with Krups Nespresso machine.
