The staff were all cheerful, friendly and helpful. It was lovely to still have access to the cathedral grounds after the public had left. The breakfast was excellent with a good range of choice as well as being well-cooked and well-presented.

Unfortunately, I didn't find anything to like about the hotel. The room was unhygienic, and the overall experience did not meet my expectations.

Everything, it was so unique and a wonderful place to stay. Staff on reception and housekeeping were wonderful, I’d messed my dates up and they managed to rearrange things for me.

The staff were exceptional.
We arrived on Father's day a busy time for the hotel but they still went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. We had come to Whitstable for the oysters and lobsters and even though it wasn't on their menu the staff in restaurant prepared two nights of seafood. Thank you again for a relaxing three days

Well, Sturry isn't really a destination in itself! But it's well placed for Canterbury and Herne Bay, and a good stopover place if you're going further, maybe even if you're going to France via EuroTunnel.
