Very comfortable hotel, excellent parking and delightful surrounding gardens and grounds - always happy to return. Excellent dinner :) Breakfast too .
Staff were so friendly and cannot fault their attitude, spa was spotless and very relaxing. Breakfast also lovely, not an amazing selection but I'm sure they would have rustled us up something off the menu if we asked.
Location is brilliant if you like walking, we had a hearty breakfast and decided to go for a 6 mile walk (basically a big old loop around Stock), which was just what was needed, then a nice little dip in the pool and jacuzzi to relax, perfect!
From the moment we arrived the lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We went to our room which had amazing decor but the cleanliness of the room and bathroom where outstanding. the room was spacious and just the right tempreture with no adjustments. The bed wash was super comfortable and felt very fresh. The breakfast was super fresh and hot so many hotels have over cooked breakfast but not Greenwoods. What a place i would recommend to anyone.
Staying at the Harvard Inn, was ideal for my visit to the area and made my stay even better than expected.
The staff were all so welcoming and professional to ensure myself and my friends were always comfortable and taken care of.
My room was very well prepared and accommodating for my stay.
I can easily recommend the Harvard Inn to anyone looking for a stress free and very comfortable hotel break in the area.

The staff at The Harvard Inn were so welcoming and attentive.
I was attending a wedding at a hotel down the road but had forgotten to pack my cardigan for the wedding day. The lady on Reception said if she'd known, she'd have brought one in for me to borrow.
The venue itself is full of character, well organised and full of character.
The hotel sits nicely in its own grounds giving a very nice ambience, the public areas are tastefully decorated and clean and the theme follows through into the bedrooms. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and road noise is limited. Staff are very helpful.
Very nice, comfortable room. Delicious food, enticing menu choices (I had the parmesan chicken) and excellent friendly and attentive local waitresses, who do a great job. Stock is a lovely, charming English village and I always enjoy staying there.
In general this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff was amazing and very accommodating. The room is a good size and the bathroom is designed amazingly
