Very friendly welcome from the owner. As a solo traveller I had a single room which was adequate for the price. Had a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Recommend the full English breakfast very good.

Friendly owner who was able to recommend great places to eat and visit. And a wonderful unique building with a fabulous garden and glorious views. Overall a really lovely weekend in a fabulous rural setting.

We didn’t have the breakfast on this visit due to leaving very early for meeting, but the location
For us was perfect, no traffic noise and the views were lovely across the valley, for us the garden in full bloom was perfect. The property owners are very friendly, we look forward to another longer visit in the future.
The New Inn Halse has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Taunton. The inn offers both free WiFi and free private parking. All guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV.

This is a gem of a place to stay. A community pub which blends accommodation for the traveller and a local pub, seamlessly.
We chose to stay here because of wider food options for Coeliac. Food was fresh and plentiful, cooked and presented beautifully.

The village of Halse is picturesque and quiet and there are beautiful walks nearby.
