The room was great, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also had dinner there which was convenient and enjoyable. Breakfast was great. The pub is in a remote country location but only 20 minutes or so from Margate.

Located in the heart of beautiful Kent hop country, but we didn't have the opportunity to explore as we simply booked the accommodation for the night, prior to attending a wedding the following day ~ & then straight home to our smallholding in very rural mid-west Wales.

The location is very peaceful and rural, ideal to get away from the bustle of town life. Friendly owners and a restaurant for your evening meal. You will need the sat nav, the nearest town is some distance.
Fantastic bar and restaurant, outstanding food and hospitality from all the staff and the locals that were drinking in the bar at evening time , breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel . Very quiet location with comfy bed . Couldn’t ask more
