Great location especially as we were doing Scafell Pike, food great, beer garden great will certainly revisit
A good location for hikers and walkers. There is also a cafeteria serving quick meals, and drinks just a few yards from the Hotel. Also nearby is a play area for children. There is a train station a short distance from the Hotel

Beautiful place.
The area is stunning.
Beautiful place.
The area is stunning.
The only downside is the difficulties with parking. Small streets, too many cars, too many inconsiderate drivers driving too fast.
Historic buildings. Railway museum.
Nice pubs & restaurants.
Friendly people

St Bees beach is fabulous.
St Bees beach is fabulous.
As well as the beach there's a little brook under the bridge to the caravan site and walks. Our 5 year-old grandson loved setting up stepping stones and building dams when the beach was too windy.
Also - there's an abundance of fresh water cress growing in the brook which was a delicious find.
The playground is excellent
We loved staying at the Seacote hotel. Family rooms are very comfortable and the cleaning staff were wonderful.
Breakfast and all our meals there were good - except our grandson would have liked to have had a proper pizza, not the sad effort supplied for children!

Lovely little seaside town with a great beach.
Lovely little seaside town with a great beach. Nice cliff top walks and nice to wonder around the village looking at all the old buildings for a couple of hours. Only saw one small shop so would need to bring food or go shopping in whitehaven (about 10mins drive away).

Brilliant location, room was very good.
Brilliant location, room was very good. The only point of criticism is that the room was not cleaned until 4 days into the stay with the excuse that they were really busy. I expected better from a hotel. Would go again simply because it is right on the beachfront.
Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable self contained accommodation in the heart of St Bees. Very well furnished, very comfortable bed and spacious kitchen area. 10mins walk to the beach, which has a lovely stretch for walking the dogs, or 20 min drive to the lake district. Within a few minutes walking distance of local amenities, at least 4 welcoming pubs, small shop & post office and a very useful train station. Fabulous place to explore the coast and the lakes.
The property was immaculate and had everything you needed for a comfortable week away. Parking to the front of the property. So near to the beach and the pub. So many coastal walks we were spoilt. Just a spit away from the Lake District so you have the best of both worlds. Just a short walk from St Bees village which was stunning. Upstairs shower room and downstairs WC.
Excellent shower. Bags of ice in the freezer (thank you!)
Neighbours quiet.
We loved it.
Lulu's is the old station house, right on platform 1 of St Bees railway station. It's a lovely, quirky building, run by an equally lovely team who made us feel very welcome! Complimentary self-serve continental breakfast was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. Very homely feel, will certainly be back!
Outstanding property. Well equipped, very clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, and well decorated. Good wifi (we were able to stream Amazon Prime video with no problem) St. Bees is a premier destination in the western Lake District, and we're were glad to score this stay. Would love to come back sometime.
Location was handy for the lakes walking but I'm sure booking.com said it was closer. Lovely beach location and a handy cafe nearby. Staff were helpful but as normal not enough of them. If your used to Blackpool accomodation you'll love it here. All in all not too bad just the food killed it for us ☹️
I liked just about everything about this accommodation, excellent room and facilities, nice breakfast, and the hosts were friendly and informative, and just a 2 minute drive to St Bees for a evening meal.
The hotel was lovely and very clean and the people were very friendly and helpful and pets were very welcomed as we took our dog, the only problem I had was WIFI, the breakfast was very good.
House is ideally placed to explore St Bees, the coast walks and the Lake District. Short walk to the beach and 2 pretty good restaurant/pubs very close.
House was very clean and comfortable.
Great location next to the sea with friendly staff. Walking distance to town. Fantastic place to stay if you're planning to walk the C2C as it's located very close to the trailhead.
